I bought the other $350+ one and returned that one. This is the best or at least is the one of the best rice cookers under 350USD.

1 Star off because of the complicated instructions. You have to hunt down how much water per rice you have to use. Not everyone is literate in types of rice. Simplify it. The rice taste and texture is great, well worth the effort and the learning curve. Cook time can be adjusted. Easy to clean. It has several functions, could be used to make porridge, slow cooking, rice and I think - yoghurt. I wish it had a quick started guide. I love the fact it has a cook book with it.

The rice cooker cooks fast & 2 cups of rice gets cooked in less than half an hour . Needed this handy cooker to cook fast & well for the kids . Easy to clean & use. Highly recommend this rice cooker

East to use rice cooker and makes my rice perfect every time.

I have been cooking and eating rice all my life. Tiger rice cooker is ok. Rice smell really bad after 1 day if you leave it to warm.

Fast and easy to use

I waited a good few months to test and see as I am a first time owner of one before writing this review. I moved from a Black & Decker rice cooker and I tell you folks, the difference is night and day. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this appliance. It's one of the best, if not the best, and most functional rice cooker in the market. Makes good fluffy rice with great preservation & warming features that does not overcook the rice to solids even after 48 hours. That's very important for any people with rice as their staple. I cook with jasmine, basmati, and even variants of sushi rice so I can attest that when it comes to rice, this is nice. No wonder why you sometimes see this in Asian restaurants in Canada. While the price may seem higher compared to others, you are paying high grade quality for a product that will last you long and does the job really well. There is a warranty that you need to register for but it seems I won't have to use it during its lifetime as the build quality is really solid. Features that stand out the most for me are the ff: - Simplicity of the controls - Ease of cleaning - Actually portable as it does have a handle - Slow cooking feature - Rice warming feature that does not overcook it - Accurate measurement labels even for brown rice and porridge/congee/arroz caldo - The rice paddle and stand is a plus! The rice scooper is non stick so you can carve or shape rice in a bowl without any remnants or sticking grains! - Comes with a rice cup - Has a recipe cookbook as an extra If there is any downsides, it would be the ff: - Price: costlier than most - Size: fairly large but it is a 10 cup rice division so that is expected - I feel it takes a little bit longer to cook the rice but it is compensated by the fact the end output is top notch. This is one of the best home appliance purchase anyone can make. Take my word and don't even look back!

I have used this rice cooker for several years, it is really good, it can operate all kinds of brown rice, grains cooking. It saves time and effort!

I like it so far. I tried a few options and it turned out well. I think I could have picked the biggest for more space to steam because I can’t have a lot of left over for two (except for rice... lots of rice!) I still need to try more things for the “sweet” option cause I was scared to put too much stuff in and ended up with too much rice and not enough veggies and meat. It’s a multiple experimentation project! There are recipes that comes with it but not what I’m looking for.

I use this rice cooker everyday. It works very well. I had tried a similarly priced Zojirushi. However, the Zoji inner pot had scratches after only one month. After 8 months, the inner pot on the Tiger doesn't have any noticeable scratches yet.

I love this rice cooker very much! Good quality and design. Cooked rice is very taste. It is easy to clean and remove the rice inside.
