Baby Alive is a cute doll that seems to be loved by little girls of all ages. This doll came in a sturdy manufacturer's box -- solid on all four sides (unlike some toy packaging that has cut-away features in the package), making it easier to gift wrap using Christmas-motif paper. Toys in cut-away boxes can require different and more expensive kinds of gift wrap to prevent puncturing and 'peeking.' The 'complete' box by the manufacturer is a much appreciated courtesy, given that parents and grandparents don't always have a lot of extra time or money to spend on gift wrapping.

Brought this doll for my youngest great granddaughter. She really loved her doll.

My 2 y/o granddaughter likes giving the “baby” a bottle but she doesn’t like her for much else. Certainly that could be the extent of her relationship with the doll. But I am glad this was not an expensive toy or it would not be worth the investment
