I got these for my father who works outside and in the summer heat needs to stay cool. These ice packs work great to keep him cool and tuck away in his hard hat or baseball cap.

I got these HiFineCare Head/Hat ice packs because as much as the heat drives me crazy, I love doing outdoor activities. I tossed a few in the freezer and the first oops I made was not laying them flat lol, so some branches didn’t have as much gel or were frozen a little bent. The bent portions flattened pretty easily, but to shift the blue gel I had to let defrost a little longer. They are thick enough to hold enough gel to keep my head cool for a bit, but it does make my favorite hat fit less snug. As they soften, this becomes less of an issue, but it’s still not as snug as I like. They are very cold if just taken out of freezer and placed on my head. Typically with ice pack type items, a towel or barrier is used. I have long hair which helps, but I wonder how this would be for someone with super short or no hair. I want to give them a higher rating but the for ball cap style hats, they alter the fit too much. They may be better for hard hats or helmets that might have more free space to work with.

Does not stay cold, would not recommend. Works for 5 mins

I purchased the green ones.Product does not stay cold for very long at all 5 to 10 minutes is all you will get out of it. Not worth the effort.
