Been using filter with my camera and smartphone and it made loads of difference when using on sunny days.

As someone like myself who likes / enjoys taking sky pictures you can capture some interesting sun and cloud pictures with this lens. The lower range 1-4 is good for light reduction where its needed. The higher range 5-9 is where you can achieve some spectacular sky photos.
