in moisten potting mix the seeds had about 50% germination rate in 4-6 days (covered containers, vents in off position initially); seeds were placed and covered with about 1/4 in potting soil and wetted down. Pots are about 3 inches tall, reusable plastic tapered square cross-section design with fitted clear plastic cover with rotating 4-hole vent cover. A bit leggy, most have exited soil to about 3 inches in stem with the two proto leafs each.

I have not had one single chocolate cosmos open from the entire pack of seeds that I planted. Most of them are white with pale purple on them and some of them are a pale lavender color but nothing even close to the color it was supposed to be. Very disappointing, especially for the cost of the seeds.

Wonderful color, arrived fast and safe

Ordered 50 seed packet of this seller's chocolate Cosmos & only light purple flowering plants grew. These are NOT chocolate COSMOS. Totally misleading, especially because light purple Cosmos are very common and can be found in any wildflower seed packet. These seed were very expensive for rarer plants, which these are CLEARLY NOT. .

I received these Chocolate Cosmo seeds rapidly and they arrived in good condition. I’ve put them in starter trays and am waiting for results. I’m writing this review but it’s too soon to say what the results will be but I’m hopeful for some beautiful cosmos to add to my garden! Will try to remember to update this review whenever I have flowers to report on.

Just planted them

Scam!!! None of the flowers were the color pictured or smelled like chocolate! They were just regular Cosmos of various colors. RIP OFF!

Weird. These came all the way from China.
