This high-speed PWM Fan is a Wonderful BEAST!
This fan is a rugged, high-speed beast. If you're accustomed to the more common, less expensive, modest 140x25mm fans... you'll be in for a shock! These monsters are solid, heavy, and generate tremendous airflow... all very good things! They will figuratively, and literally, blow you away at even moderate speeds. Note that these fans certainly aren't quiet at higher speeds, which is completely normal, and expected. And they do vibrate a bit, which is again perfectly normal. But the airflow they can generate is impressive, to say the least. Given all that, a PWM fan controller is highly recommended: By reducing the speed a bit, you can greatly reduce noise and vibration, while still moving a lot of air. Running this fan at a reduced speed should also lengthen the service life too. The recommended controller is Noctua's NA-FC1, as it's designed to handle four amps... well under this fan's maximum current draw of three amps. https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NA-FC1-4-pin-PWM-Controller/dp/B072M2HKSN/ In short, if you're in the market for a fan providing tremendous airflow, in a 140x38mm form factor, this product is highly recommended!

This Blower is Loud! And moves a lot of air.
Beware! I didn't but this for sound reasons, I bought it to move air. And boy does it move air. I dont think I have to dust my PC anymore. It goes on the side of my computer and i have 2 fans in the front, when i turn the fans off in the front , this fans turns the non powered fans in the opposite direction not needing the 2 front fans. This is a PWM fan and in my bios I have it to 35% power. which is just right for air and noise level. At 100% it sounds like a jet engine. you want a fan to move air and dont care about noise? this is the fan. Also this fan will hurt your fingers -find a fan guard. It has a really long cable which is a good thing.

Blown the f*** out
This fan is the god of PC fans. Any other brand pales in comparison and I guarantee I've had improved performance from both my GPU and CPU after switching from those weenie Noctua NF-A14 Industrial fans. The top review on those made me think they were super powerful or had a ton of airflow. If you need fans that can be quiet when you want to be immersed and powerful/loud only when your at full load, these are it. There are no other options, because either they come with sub-par specs for the price, or the quality is going to be lower. I have no problem with a negative pressure now, because the wind gusting through the case is so violent, there's very little opportunity for dust to get stuck. It's almost just as effective to go into my BIOS, press "f" (to pay respect for the natural disaster about to occur), and max all three of my fans to clear out the whole thing. No disassembly required. If my description so far doesn't deliver the point, let me give you something concrete about my PC. There are two of the 140mm b-Blasters and one 120mm version. The leftover Arctic and Noctua intakes on the front barely count, so I won't even bother to consider them. Each 140mm fan has a maximum of 70 decibels at max speed. On top of that, the 120mm has an additional 45 decibels. Just adding these three numbers gives you over 180 decibels and that's not even considering the CPU fan and two intakes. They are deafening when I max them out, but that never happens during a game and only if I'm running several high profile programs or a benchmark. All that said, these fans can be as quiet as other companies if you set up a fan curve to max them out at 35%. I like the option that if my CPU gets near a critical temperature, these things can rev up and prevent damage or throttling. If these were $10 more than I'd say you could go with another lesser capable brand, but they do almost all the same stuff for the same price. Only real complaints I have is that bgears is totally utilitarian and could do without the ketchup/mustard wires. I'd pay extra for some white ones with white LEDs and the same specs as these. TL;DR - If you want actual airflow and bother to set up a fan profile, get these. Way better than the overpriced Noctuas.

Great cooling and noise level, but had 1 failure of 4.
I bought 4 of these fans, the cooling capacity is great for the noise level. However, 1 fan did fail, I think it was the ball bearings, as it would wobble and make lots of noise. I didn't take it apart though and look into it. It did run for about 3 months before breaking. The other 3 are running solid though. I would give these a 5 if that one didn't fail.

Vibrated itself apart within hours, cannot recommend
I bought this 140mm x 38mm 5200rpm +12V @ 2.76A fan to replace a 120mm x 38mm 2000rpm +12V @ 0.30A fan in a Thermaltake Core V1 that comes with a 200mm x 25mm 800rpm fan. I find the thicker 38mm fans that run faster are much better. Unfortunately, after running it at 2000-2300 and then 3400-3700rpm, I was doing some thermal testing and running it at the full 5000-5100rpm rate. It vibrates massively above 3700rpm, even though I used rubber spacers as I had read reviews from others about the vibrations, and wanted to dampen them as much as possible. It was maybe 20 minutes in that I heard a bang, and immediately pulled the plug on my computer. Upon immediate inspection, I saw a blade that had separated. But upon further inspect, literally half the fixed supports on the back had cracked, and when I touched one, it broke off. I couldn't believe it vibrated itself apart like that. I've never seen anything like that, and I'm a degreed EE with a decent amount of thermal experience in microelectronics (this was just a PC cooling project). If I had to guess, the fixed supports on the back were the first to crack, and then the unit warped, causing a blade to fly off. Just really not something to run above 3700rpm, and I would look elsewhere for a 140mm x 38mm fan, possibly just sticking to lower speeds.

Gorgeous
Absolutely gorgeous! Quiet and powerful. It did not come with screws. Fans were purchased as a AIO fan upgrade and required 6-32 Machine Screws, 1-3/4 inch. Great, great, great!

I can't believe I've never tried 38mm thick case fan before. I've been a PC Gaming Enthusiast for 30 years. Fan noise does not bother me whatsoever. That said these are incredibly loud at 100%. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone that is bothered by a loud fan. Unless you're putting them in another room or something. These are the ultimate in performance. 300+CFM = AMAZING SO MUCH HIGHER THAN ANY OTHER CASE FAN 70+mmHG Static Pressure = Super high, other fans, good fans not low end ones have maybe 2.0mmHG static pressure. These fans are crazy high pressure. I have experience no problems that some other reviewers had. No grinding noise. I plugged them in outside my computer and ran them for several hours to make sure they didn't fail catastrophically like others experienced. But after more than 2 weeks running 24/7 at varying speeds, sometimes 100%, they are still perfect. Double ball bearings are the most durable you can get AFAIK. I wish I had found these sooner. Highly recommend to anyone who wants the ultimate performance from a 140mm fan and isn't bothered by fan noise.
