I’m so excited to use it with my new ring light for content creation, especially since I’m new to YouTube. It looks like a great fit for me right now. I bought these to record my podcast I do with my son called "my boy and I Adventures of the Imagination." He tends to move a lot and not talk in a regular recording mic. So this allows him to move around and just talk. They quality is amazing and it's easy setup. All you do is plug it into your phone or recording device, turn on the receiver and mic and boom you're in business. I definitely recommend!! Exactly what I needed.

Most people that buy these types of devices probably already know about OTG. I wasn’t one of them. This might be a good microphone. Before you buy it though, find out if your smartphone has OTG capability. My cheap Samsung does not. I’m not going to buy a new phone just to use this microphone. It is made in china. Not a surprise, but I also learned that OTG devices can pose a security risk. Once you enable OTG, you are allowing access to your phone to whatever code is in the microphone, mouse, etc. No malware could possibly originate from that good hearted nation, right? It was only $30. I learned another lesson I’ll probably forget by the next time I need it.

Hopefully my feedback will help a lot of people. This item does work but it will not work with all cameras. I figured out the issue with the buzzing sound. My Canon 6D is not compatible because it only has one jack for the mic. Strange I know but this item works with my Canon 70D and my 80D as the both have a mic jack and a headphone jack. If you camera only has the mic jack I would not purchase this item. You will not be able to get rid of the buzzing. With the two jack setup you may also need to reduce the recording volume on your camera as others have suggested. I found that going past the first notch in voulume setttings is still to high and will create a slight buzz. The only major flaw with this item is that the mics are too darn big. lol I was hoping they would be a lot smaller. The are so big they can flold your crew neck coller down creating the bacn neck effect. Sheeeesh.......

Nifty little sucker:). I like it because it works very well while streaming on Zoom meeting.

Audio quality isn't amazing and battery life is kinda mid. It's definitely meant for shorter recording sessions thatn long hangouts

Wasn't compatible with my Samsung a15, poor manual as well and no online references
