Only works with connected phone. Does not store data. All data lost when you press stop to end ride, unless connected to phone at that time

Easy to use. Not sure what the other users are talking about. Everything can be changed in the phone app--units (imperial/metric), layout of the screen, connectivity to other apps like Strava, and linking other bluetooth devices i.e. heart rate monitors. Amazing product for an amazing price.
