This vermiculite is extremely functional and is very easy to use. My orchids love it and are growing very well. The cost is reasonable and I definitely will buy this brand again.

Will purchase again as needed and well worth it to me as a partial and full seed starter mixture. If you know anything about vermiculite and perlite you know they can be full of electrostatic so when you do open this bag as it is vacuum sealed it would be wise to use scissors or a knife and make two little holes in either top corner I'm right hand so upper right to me. Give it a min the breathe then slowly work it around with your hands. Do not open it fully without doing this or it can go/ fly everywhere. Some people are already had pictures of it being compressed so here's where I make two holes and after the bag is worked. This does weigh a pound and half.

Very fine granules. Good for the top layer of seeding trays. Regulates moisture and helps prevent damping off.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a parcel of vacuum-sealed product. It saves room with shipping, and as long as there isn't moisture, it's great. I gave up on buying "potting soil" that's like 60% wood chips, and now make sprouting media using coconut coir and/or peat moss, vermiculite, perlite, and a touch of composted cow manure. My germination rates are excellent.

Feels like the regular vermiculite you could get anywhere, but my goodness is it dusty. I poured this out in a bin and I seen clouds of dust fill the room. Probably not ideal if you’re not looking to inhale vermiculite. Not bad otherwise.
