Listen, these oysters taste GREAT. However, if you value your health, please make them an occasional snack. The ingredient cottonseed oil is HIGHLY processed, cheap oil which is high in Omega-6 fatty acids (the type which cause more inflammation). Please do your research on cottonseed oil. Please. I wish these oysters were stored in olive oil or just plain water, I would’ve given them five stars and made them a long-term staple in my pantry.

I had bought Bumble Bee smoked oysters many times before, but only recently discovered hardwood smoked oysters. What a huge difference! They’re plump and fat, and a real improvement over the plain old smoked oysters. I can’t recommend these enough!

I eat these here and there as a snack, and as an alternate protein, sometimes mixed into a bowl of tinned seafood. It has a deep earthy taste, with a nice smoky flavor to it. The oysters are not fishy smelling, they have good color for smoked oysters, and are firm and sturdy, but remain mashable with my fork. These give me a nice protein boost for days where i am kind of needing to up it a little. I like them enough to buy a 12 pack, and not just a tin or two here and there.
