Highly recommend very tasty just add milk and ice
This is the only coffee syrup I buy. I buy them 2 bottles at a time and this time I bought one for my sister for Christmas because she was going to buy another brand so I added this to her Christmas gifts.

Perfect for making homemade coffee ice cream!
I originally bought the 3 variety "Coffee Syrup Sample Pack" sold on here for $25 that comes with 1 bottle each of Autocrat, Eclipse & Coffee Time coffee syrups. While I agree that these are all amazing when mixed with milk for a drink, I was searching for the best one for making homemade coffee ice cream & the Autocrat brand is definitely the winner (plus as an added perk, it comes in a 32 fl oz bottle, while the other two brands are in 16 fl oz bottles)! I have now switched to ordering the 2 pack of 32 fl oz Autocrat syrup for $20 & can make 8 batches of ice cream with each bottle (approx. 1.5 qt batch size, using a Cuisinart ICE-30BC automatic ice cream maker). Definitely recommend trying in your homemade coffee ice cream & here is the recipe that I use: Coffee Ice Cream (Philadelphia Style aka no egg yolks) INGREDIENTS: 2 C half & half 1 C heavy whipping cream 1/2 C Autocrat brand coffee syrup 1/4 C granulated white sugar 1 Tbl pure vanilla extract (I sometimes use 1 Tbl. Neilsen-Massey vanilla bean paste instead) 1/8 tsp kosher or sea salt 4 tsp espresso powder or fine ground instant espresso 1 Tbl *good* vodka (I use unflavored Belvedere) - you don't taste the alcohol, but it helps prevent the ice cream from freezing too hard & gives it a better final texture **follow the instructions on your ice cream maker & if you are using a model with a frozen bowl, make sure it is ready before you start mixing the ingredients!** Step 1 - mix all ingredients except espresso powder & vodka in a large measuring cup Step 2 - add espresso powder 1 tsp at a time, whisking while you add it (otherwise you can end up with clumps) Step 3 - stir in vodka Step 4 - pour mixture into ice cream maker (make sure you turn the machine on BEFORE you add the liquid) & run the machine for approx 20-30 minutes (depends on how cold your bowl is & the type of machine you are using) The ice cream will be a soft-serve consistency when it is done. I recommend letting it "ripen" in the freezer for 12-24 hours before you eat it, which will give it a much firmer consistency.

Not packaged well at all.
Great syrup BUT they need to package it better. Both bottles had broken tops and syrup leaked all over. Rhisbis a NO return of replacement item.

This is a good tasting sweetener, and safe, too!
An earlier review said, "Problem with this one is ingredients are high fructose corn syrup and corn syrup. I think that stuff is poison." This product is high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), flavored with coffee and other ingredients. It's the same sugar found in soda pop and so it's just as safe as common soda pop. In the store, Karo sells plain HFCS for pancakes. "High fructose" corn syrup is made up of about 45% glucose and 55% fructose. Cane sugar ("table sugar") is made up of about 50% glucose and 50% fructose. You might not even be able to taste the difference between HCFS and table (cane) sugar. At best, you might taste the HFCS as ever so slightly sweeter. The body absorbs glucose (also known as blood sugar when it's in your blood) directly, but it's only half as sweet as fructose. Fructose, on the other hand, must be metabolized into glucose by the liver. If you have a healthy liver (as most of us do), normal amounts of fructose do no harm, and it's twice as sweet as glucose. Fructose is the majority of the sugar in the fresh fruits that you eat. Granted, overeating ANY sugar can contribute to obesity and diabetes, but as long as you use sugar (including Autocrat Coffee Syrup) prudently, it's perfectly safe. The only thing more I would like is more coffee flavoring. I prefer the taste of Autocrat Coffee Syrup over other syrups I've tried, and it's less expensive than most other brands. I recommend that you try it: I think you'll like it.

Amazon had
From being from R.I. this is something I enjoyed living most of my life, Amazon had it , seems a bit more expensive than a. R.I.. retailers, Amazon still provided my product.

Packaging is terrible.
Great product if you can actually get it intact. Whomever packages the product lays bottles of liquid on their sides and presumes they will leak because they are placed in a plastic back to catch the spillage. Can’t return it either. So you wind up with an opened container of foodstuffs, or if you are lucky a bottle still sealed but with a broken cap. If you can get it to your home intact it is delicious.

Cracked Caps But Delicious Syrup
Love it! Love it! Love it! The syrup is the perfect ingredient needed to make frappachinos at home. My only complaint is the same as many others…the packaging. I ordered my first bottle, cap was cracked. I ordered 2 more bottles. Calls were broken. No leakage, just cracked caps. Judging from the number of broken cap complaints it seems the caps are broken before being shipped. If this is the case, the seller should let that be known. But that problem aside, Rhode Island’s little state drink is a winner!
