A Taste of Japan in Every Pouch!
S&B Curry Sauce with Vegetables Mild has quickly become my go-to for a taste of authentic Japanese curry, conveniently packaged and ready to transform any meal. Japanese curry aficionados will appreciate the perfect balance of flavors in this mild version—it's exactly as it should be, complementing the rich and nice curry taste without overwhelming spiciness. One of the simplest yet incredibly satisfying ways to enjoy it is by pouring it over rice for a quick and comforting meal. But if you're up for a delicious twist, try pairing it with air-fried, breaded chicken cutlets for a budget-friendly, at-home version of chicken Katsu curry. The absence of protein in the pouch opens up a world of possibilities to customize it your way. Yes, it's a bit on the premium side, but trust me, you're paying for the pinnacle of Japanese traditional cuisine and the utmost convenience. The rich flavor of the curry sauce combined with plentiful carrots and potatoes in each pouch makes it a truly worthwhile investment. Preparation is a breeze, and while boiling the pouch in water is my preferred method for optimal heating, I'd advise caution if you opt for the microwave—there's a tendency to bubble up and create a mess. In a rush but craving that authentic Japanese curry experience? S&B Curry Sauce with Vegetables Mild has you covered. It's a flavorful, time-saving solution that brings the heartiness of Japanese curry straight to your table. A must-try for those who appreciate the fusion of tradition and convenience in their culinary adventures!

Tasty and more affordable than some brands.
This tastes good and it's easy to make. Boil it for 5 minutes and you're good to go! I typically will warm up a can of veggies, mix it with rice, and while I microwave the rice I boil the packet. It all comes together really well.

Pricy, but satisfies curry cravings quickly!
I love curry. Best curry is made from bricks of curry powder, which can take an hour or so to cook, but you can boil this bag, microwave some basmati or jasmine rice and throw in some canned chicken and have an excellent meal in a fraction of the time. I wouldn't buy this regularly just because of the price, but I'll eat it once every couple weeks to satisfy curry cravings when I'm too busy to cook up a batch. Easiest way to make curry besides a microwave dinner. Sauce is a bit more on the viscous side, not too watery, and there's a ton of good flavor. Mix in some ridged carrots and other preferred veggies for a more balanced dish. I think medium heat was my favorite, but I also like to drizzle hot sauce on top of the bowl as well. The non-spicy kind is probably better for people with heartburn problems, but I looove spicy food.

Very easy, Mild is super-tasty & seems very authentic. Zero heat, good for kids & non-heat-lovers.
I used to go get Japanese curry beef bowls for lunch from the hot-food counter at Seattle-area Uwajimaya grocery stores. I always loved that stuff. They don't seem to have curry bowls anymore and that made me sad, but this tastes pretty much identical to what I remember, so I'm pretty chuffed. I got both Mild and Medium packets. I haven't tried the Medium yet. The Mild is very mild indeed, not something I think anyone would call spicy. It's got lots of tasty, flavorful spices in it, but not the hot kind. Great for kids and people who either don't like/want spicy food, or are new to spicy food. It's really easy to make. I heat some beef chunks, either cut up small or blobs of lean ground chuck, in a pan over medium heat, with a little water added so they don't get too browned, until they're just barely still pink. Then I add this packet of sauce+veg, stir it up, set to medium-high and let it bubble basically until the water I'd added boils off, and that's it done. Add to a similar amount of steamed rice you can make in parallel, and you're good to go, maybe 5-7 minutes tops and sooo much better than any frozen microwave meal I could possibly have made in 3-4 minutes. It's a 𝘭𝘪𝘭 bit pricey, I guess, but hey, you get what you pay for in this case, I think.

What's important to know is that the flavor is the greatest there's no comparison.
I like the fact that I don't have to cook to have great curry rice dishes since I can't cook. Restaurants that have curry dishes are very few, at least I haven't found any. And now with the ready made Curry sauce with vegetables definitely makes my day. I have tried other brands of ready to eat curry sauces but there is no comparison to the S&B brand. In Hawaii there are Curry Houses where they have the same kind of curry sauce and you just have them put whatever kind of meat you want in your curry sauce. With this S&B curry sauce (since it's ready to eat - just warm it up) you just add whatever cooked meat that you have and have a great meal. Well, yes you do need some rice but that is readily available in grocery stores. Enjoy the S&B curry sauce with vegetables and you can have it mild, medium or hot - it is great!

5 stars because it taste good!
I lived in Japan for 11 years. Curry and rice is my favorite food. While making curry from scratch is better, it also takes around an hour give/take to prepare...this was ready in a few minutes because I already had left over rice from the night before. This really is good...you can’t beat how convenient it is!!! I do wish it was a bit spicier but the flavor is solid! It is also full of veggies! I have tried several brands of these single serve, ready to eat curry and this brand is by far my favorite! Also the price is very affordable (at my local Asian store, they sell 1 package for almost $5 vs this being about $2 per package!)

This stuff is delicious!
I like S&B curry, and this is an easy meal that ticks all the boxes; inexpensive, easy to prepare, and absolutely delicious. We go with the mild version (my days of spicy food are behind me, I’m afraid) and with some freshly made rice, it really hits the spot. The only way it could be more perfect is if you could microwave it directly in the bag (you can’t; don’t try it) but once you empty it into a bowl and heat it up, you’re in business. It’s really good enough to stand on its own as a quick meal, but also makes a great/easy side dish supporting bigger productions (steak, chicken, fish, etc.). Joe Bob would say, “Check it out!”

This is the only meat-free Japanese curry I can find, and I’m glad I did because it’s so delicious. The flavour is amazing. The mild only has a bit of heat, which is perfect for people with low spice tolerance. It’s super easy to cook. Absolutely delicious!!!!!

This tastes sweet, there is no Japanese flavors in this what so ever mild is underestimated, no curry flavor at all. Nothing like S&B Golden Curry Sauce would rather buy and cook veggies my self.
