I like that the USB plugs into the charger. I replace the one piece charger the dash cam came with. The one piece charger had problems with a continuous connection. I can also now charge my Apple EarPods through this two port charger.

My dashcam lose power. Glad, its easy fix, just replacing a power cord.

If you’re looking for a car charger with two USB A ports and cable included for a dashcam this kit has it all. Included cable ties and clips. Also a tool to help with hiding the cable in car trim. Really like the kit If your dash cam is USB C. Then you will need an adapter for USB C. The charger has a green led ring light around front. Ports don’t light up so you can’t see them in dark. Adapter was harder to plug into car 12V socket but fits.

I purchased this kit for the long power cord. It is long enough to weave around the front of the cab to reach my dashcam. The accessories that came with the kit is an added bonus. I was able to use the pry tool to open the molding to slip the cord in. The plastic clips were used on my USB Y-Cable to help power my GPS. I have not used the power plug, so I can't say how it functions. But, this is a fantastic kit with items you will definitely use when powering your dashcam. I would get it again.
