CAP Barbell Olympic 2-Inch Weight Plate, GRAY 10 LBS - 4 Plate Set

This is my third time buying these weights for my dumbbell handles. I now have 28 of these. They are well made with consistent and accurate weight. The shipping box has improved. The first purchase of several sets came in boxes that were too weak for the weight. 1 plate was missing. I contacted the seller and they refunded the 4 plate set cost. I definitely recommend these for your home gym.

You get what you pay for, I wanted “weight is weight” for my loadable dumbbells, I almost bought the good version, but for now, I thought this is fine. At just over $1/lb with tax, they are cheap, not just price, but quality. They come in and there are sharp edges to cut your fingers on the opening in the center and very uneven metal work as well. But 15-20 minutes with the Dremel sander and I have relatively smooth edges to slide onto my dumbbell sleeves without completely destroying them, but they’re also quite loose on a 2” dumbbell handle. I haven’t weighed them, but I will have gotten what I paid for, I decided to Spend $40, not $150-220 for these 40lbs. They were a bit worse than I expected, even with the reviews, but for now, it’s fine, they may end up as just weight just adding a big more security to racks or machines, but for now, I needed some weight. They’re great for what they are, be prepared to cut yourself mar your barbell or dumbbell, or do some sanding when they come, but there was no way this would’ve taken 2 hours as another reviewer said.

When I ordered the price was 1.15 pound. There was a minor imperfections on one plate. Given the price and convenience of having it delivered to my door I am very happy. Why I have it 5 stars. However the price has since gone up to much more. They are just weight plates. I would buy these depending on price. Prices on dumbbell and weight plates have become insane.

10 lb steel plates arrived and are what they are. Good price. Packaging was completely mangled upon arrival, but the weights were unblemished.
