These are perfect when you are building your storage supply. Shelf life is 25 years and easily stacked.

Just what I needed!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The idea is great! I understand it’s nutritional value and having something to keep put away for those just in case moments. It’s in easily stackable buckets to keep organized which is a huge plus! The kids complain about the taste or texture of certain meals. But they understand the value I spoke of earlier.

Looks good on the outside, stacks really nicely for long term storage. Pray you never have to eat it. Supposedly it’s good for 25 years. I’m not sure how they can claim it’s edible. I followed the directions for the cheesy macaroni in my kitchen with a working stove and regular tap water. The smell of the chemicals from the artificial cheese was so bad no one in the house would even attempt to taste it, except the only one that can’t smell; me. The taste was so bad that I couldn’t even bite down a second time to try and chew the first bite. Maybe it’s just the chemicals from the artificial cheese? Two weeks later I tried rinsing all the chemicals off of the noodles and used just the noodles. I boiled them like I would any dried macaroni noodles and after draining them to add the sauce and other ingredients I taste tested a noodle to make sure they were perfectly cooked. I spat it out before I bit down. If you have ever been handed an MRE and were told “don’t eat the cheese or the peanut butter because they have gone bad,” then you know what they tasted like. Can these things be safely disposed of in a landfill? That’s the only thing I can think of to do with them after only a few years of sitting in my office closet.
