Do Not Buy
Updated review August 2025. The hearing aids worked well until Lexie introduced a new app that controls the product. First, the app deleted all my environments which worked well, took some time to develop and test. Reestablished two new environments on the new app only to have them deleted spontaneously as well. Several times the hearing aids simply stopped working. Once while I was driving and unable to address the spontaneous failure. Customer Service is not helpful. Clueless human or AI. Either go back to the previous simple, intuitive app or repair the new app. Meantime, I change my recommendation to DO NOT BUY. After four years of searching, three audiologists, two otolaryngologists, four hearing aids, I finally found this Lexie Bose product. Less expensive than the audiologist Rx hearing aids. The app administers a hearing test then customizes amplification based on your individual needs. Similar to work the audiologist does. Devices are comfortable and my open dome choice allows me to hear my own voice without the conductive distortions you get from in canal aids. My own speaking voice sounds normal. Hearing music from base to treble. Hearing birds for the first time in years. Product description accurately advises that music streaming is poor quality, but my experience is that spoken word streaming like talk radio or audiobooks is acceptably clear. By experimenting with the environments settings, I was able to establish an "Earbuds" setting that produces acceptable music sound. Seller correctly points out these devices do not produce a high fidelity music sound, but I found with a little experimentation with the volume, bass and treble settings, the music acceptable and convenient to set up. More bass tones reduce the tinny sound quality.

Well satisfied!
I wanted to share my thoughts. The things that I like are in order: (1) The ability to hook up with my phone. This feature really helps my ability to take & place phone calls even in loud places and hear very well. (2) The App is working a lot better than the old one did as well. This one connects very quickly and so far hasn't let me down (3) I believe the clarity of sound is better also. I am able to hear better without having to turn them up as much as the old pair. (4) The recharging batteries are also great. I wear them many days from 7AM - 9PM and I don't have to charge them in between. The only negatives for me are once in a while the left side doesn’t pick up on a call, and they don’t have a very long range away from the phone.

These stopped working properly after several months.
These are the second brand of hearing aides I've tried. The first ones wouldn't hold a charge for me, but the hearing test was good and I liked them otherwise. The hearing test that came with these was awful. The sounds were way too loud and there was a lot of echo. I could hear my hair when I pushed it back and my glasses when I put them on. I'm wearing them now, after lowering the volume and treble. I'll try wearing them for a day and then decide if they should be returned or kept. I have a feeling that the hearing test I took at the audiologist was incorrect too. I'm never sure if I hear the little beeps or not. I'll update this after wearing these for a day. I'm adding another star. I can hear quite well with these, but I'm frequently turning the volume up and down and sometimes one or the other ear goes mute and I can't unmute it. it might just take more time to figure all of this out, but things are at least progressing. I've had these for less than a year and have downgraded my review. They worked well in the beginning and I didn't wear therm all of the time as I didn't feel I needed them except to watch tv or was out with a large group of people. After about 6 months, they started making weird, noises, mostly swishy sounds. At first this only happened when I was on my phone. I called for support and the person I spoke to was very helpful so I thought the problem was solved. But, a few days later, whenever I put the left one in my ear, as soon as I turned the aide on, the horrible noise started again. I tried several times but it was hopeless. I also had problems at times getting them connected by my phone. Like many other people who gave reviews, I bought them as I've always trusted Bose Speakers, It was a mistake. I wasted 1000 dollars. Btw, a local pharmacy is now selling these for 500 dollars, which makes me think they really never were worth as much as I paid. Don't waste your money. You might be better off buying a really cheap pair of hearing aides for about 100 dollars as they couldn't be more unreliable than these have been for me.
