ESV Illuminated Scripture Journal: Romans

Every time I dive deep into a book of the Bible, I get one of these little books that has ESV text on the left pages and a blank page on the right, for notes, etc. This one is especially pretty as it has a lovely cover. The paper and print quality are excellent.

I love this paperback journal with the entire ESV book of Romans. It is beautiful, compact, and so useful. The font is larger than my Bible, so it is easy to read. The pages are thick enough so that there is no bleed-through when I write with gel pen. This is perfect for in-depth study of the book of Romans because there is enough room to mark the text, and for notes. For each page of Bible text there is a blank page for notes. Some of the journal pages have lovely illustrations. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I love the set up of this journal. The pages opposite the scriptures are perfect for journaling. The journal itself is sturdy and holds up well. I only used pens to write and nothing ever bled through.

This journal is such a great tool for studying the book of Romans!! It has the full text of the book with a page of scripture on the left and a page for notes on the right. This is my second one to use for a group Bible study and I'm hoping to use a lot more as I go along!!

This is my first one of these to try, and I am hooked. I now have the complete NT set on my wishlist. This gives a manageable space for inductive bible study. I am doing a page a day. One page of reading/studying and one page of notes, in whatever format I want to do them. This gives just enough of a framework that I need to keep me motivated. It is a pretty book, but it gives you permission to write in it and mark it all up (there's just not space for this in a regular bible).

These are soooo beautiful! And high quality! My husband and I use these as a couples devotional, we each have one we read and take notes on our own and share and compare our thoughts. We both LOVE having each individual book of the bible and haveing a full page for note taking for each page of scripture. These are absolutely perfect. This would be great for anyone who likes bible journaling, or for sermon notes. I have been recommending these to everyone!! The only thing I would change is having the choice of translation. My husband and I have different preferences in translation and I would love to choose the translation
