Great Fly Traps, Sticky Typecif Trap
Best fly catchers on the market. Easy to install the plastic grates around each one, which protect your hands from touch other sticky part. Cokes with a wire like you get on bread or roll packages, in order to hange it where needed. Long enough to go the job. We attached one near on our Mutt Dog receptacle, catches the flys easily. Also attach one where our trash cans are; now that we have the huge Waste Management bins. This keeps flys from getting into the bins. Have used these type of fly traps for years. Don’t be afraid to use them and gather 100’s of flys on each one. Untie from where you installed it and trash it when needed.

Works 100% than anything else on the market!
Thus year has been horrible with flies for some reason. Maybe all the construction in the area?? We have tried spraying, sticky fly strips- everything. We were at a restaurant that had these on their outdoor patio along with those propeller things that sit on the table and it was fly free. So we bought these. Let me tell you in just a hour it was half full. By the end of the day I had to open a second one. It catches even the biggest bugs. I have a yellow jacket and crickets ion there too. They stick and they stay. Easy to use- just pull the tab on the cardboard cover and you’re ready to go. Zero mess. 100% recommend!

They Work
They work pretty well inside and outside. I normally just use these in the garage, but this winter the fruit flies, gnats, or whatever the heck they are have been terrible. They are very sticky, durable and easy to hang just about anywhere. I like these a lot better than fly tape. They seem to work better and aren't as unsightly. I have allergies, so my nose doesn't work well...I haven't noticed a smell at all. When you think they've seen better days, throw them out. I will be buying more soon because it will eventually be warm outside, and I will have flies in my garage. I prefer these because they don't smell like death.

sticky coating goes away quickly
These traps work great for flies, they use a super sticky coating that traps the flies that land, however I found out the hard way DON'T WASTE $ ON A FOUR pack. the sticky coating dissipates in a few weeks, then they don't work at all. i will use again, but will only get one. this is a very annoying packaging problem with this product.

No flys
I tried several other fly trap and at first this didn’t seem to work and I left it a lone for few days and it wiped out all the flys

Three flies landed on it WHILE IT WAS STILL IN MY HAND..!!
This design is amazing!!! For whatever reason, our lovely home in forested hills has had some flies hanging around outside since before we bought it, and sometimes they sneak inside as we (and our kiddo and dogs) go in and out all day – especially during the summer. We ended up with quite a problem at one point, and (stinky) outdoor bait traps helped but we still had so many inside (grrr and yuck..). Inside, we tried the tapes that unroll and clear sticky rectangles, which caught some but not enough! We got super-proficient with this little electrified tennis racket thing, but it’s just aggravating after a while and makes you feel fairly ridiculous, like the flies are getting smarter and might win eventually. lol I avoided trying this style because it looks so big and bulky, and I worried that it would be such a waste of plastic, but it’s not nearly as environmentally wasteful as I initially worried either! Only the top and bottom are thin pieces of plastic (which I hope might be recyclable when I take it apart at the its end) - the rest seems to be paperboard/cardboard-based. I finally broke down and tried this during the aforementioned period of “quite a problem”… And oh. my. gawd. I’m not kidding that one landed on the thing while I was just casually, holding it in mid-air, when these things usually can hardly be hit by the tennis racket swatter when we’re trying!! That seemed amazing, so I held it out near a couple others in a window, and they flippin’ landed on it within a minute, too!!! Just putting one out one afternoon and another at the other end our house the next morning made it seem like almost every fly had literally been sucked from the air within about a day. I left one sitting mostly out of sight (but in sight of flies) by our can and bottle recyling and the other by our guinea pig’s cage because they’re attracted to those smells, and I can’t get over the relief I feel! I still sometimes see that a fly or two snuck inside and feel my old sense of “ugh..” at what that used to mean, and now it takes me a while to notice pretty soon I simply don’t see those flies anymore – they found this thing!! I’ve had two out for two months and they still seem to work just great. I’m sold! 10/10. Highly recommend!

When you have flies and do not want to spray anything....or play..."Ah, Grasshopper...."
Useful, safe, and works. Takes sometime because you are trying to attract the fly. This does not contain chemicals to kill, nor phermones. It is a visual attractor. So, hint...great for basements, or other areas where you can turn off light except one right next to this unit so flies come toward it. Hang or stand. Will slowly gather them to touch the sticky surface and they are done. Do NOT throw it out too fast. It seems the flies themselves do pick up scent of dead flies...so the more die, the more die. No, YOU will NOT smell that. But that does suggest it will work better where air is not quick moving. Still even with just the visual aspect, effective. but needs light on it that reflects back into the open area of room so flies will see it. When it gets full, plastic bag and out. Good that you do not have to use an insecticide as such. Okay, once in a while, in the living room or kitchen, I really do enjoy the chase...so, a slightly dampened napkin or paper towel, and approach window or wall where it has landed verrrryyy slowly. And your open hand and dampness holding tissue open means coverage, so fly can't escape as easily. Closer, closer...slap paper on wall. Trap it, close tissue carefully and put into garbage. If needed, wipe wall or window dry. Do NOT save flies as proof of your hunting ability.
