OEM as stated and fit my application perfect
I'm giving this a five only because I expect it would work fine if I didnt have a different issue causing the switch to not work. The switch looks oem and fits perfect.

Open sesame
2010 equinox rear hatch release switch fell apart, the touch pad dry rotted and fell off. I purchased this along with the plastic piece that snaps into the hatch and holds this switch, part# 22864934. After taking a single torx head screw out of rear hatch and popping the two halves of plastic panels off the hatch door and taking a few 10mm nuts off the chrome piece that holds the switch in place. I was able to unplug the factory switch and plug this new one in and put back together. Took about 15 minutes to swap out and it works again.

Works great for 2016 Chevy Equinox
The best that I can tell is that this switch either does or does not call for a bezel to fit in the rear hatch assembly. Earlier models of the 2nd Gen Equinox and Acadia had a bezel that holds the switch in the assembly otherwise this switch seems like it's too small... My year, 2016, it is a direct fit. The official switch dry rotted after only 6 years so we'll see how long this will last. This part was OEM and a great price - I recommend to look under the assembly at your switch to establish if you'll need the extra part.

Make sure its the right item.
Well this item does not fit a 2010 Chevy Equinox. I clearly stated thats what I needed it for. Now I have to return it.

Great product and it worked on my 2010 Chevy Equinox. Please note this is only the switch so when I took off mine off the trunk I needed a plastic piece to have this switch fit in it. I wish that came with it or if they sold as a add on. Anyway it worked out I just had to improvise. The switch works great. My trunk opens again, no more embarrassing moments as the trunk would not open. Shame on Chevy for installing a poor original switch. This product saved the day.

It was smaller(button part) than my original (2012 GMC Terrain) but my boyfriend was so smart for fix it and this is Working well at all. Thanks
