This is an outstanding method of “waking up” every morning. Unlike other loose leaf teas, this one has a mild taste but the presentation after the first sip is worthwhile, that is, extraordinary. I recommend it highly, with the right tea ball, of course, for proper immersion.

This tea has good freshness (not sure that's the right word for tea leaves, but...) and it works well with my small-mesh diffuser mug inserts. It took a little experimenting to get the right amount for each cup, but now I'm enjoying this tea. There is some depth the the flavor after a long steep. I used to use two tea bags per 16-ounce cup, and I would steep it a long time to get some bitterness. It's difficult to get any bitterness with this loose tea, which most users will appreciate. I prefer a little bitterness, and I can get a little bitter aftertaste if I steep this a long, long time. I may experiment with other flavors that are more suited to the taste I'm aiming for (probably Asam). But I love not having to taste the carboard flavor of a tea bag; I'll never go back now that I've experienced the difference. And I'm saving a ton of money vs. bags.

This Assam tea is delicious and I agree with all of the positive reviews. The instructions could be a bit better and I couldn't find any in the reviews I read so I'm posting how I make iced tea with the Assam version: 4 cups of 212 F degree water (or boiling if your kettle doesn't track temp) 2 slightly rounded tablespoons of Assam tea (this may sound like a lot but these leaves are bigger than other loose or bagged tea I've tried) Steep for 4 minutes. Remove tea without trying to press the water out of the tea leaves, wait 20 mins or so for tea to cool down a bit, and then pop into the refrigerator for 2 hours or so. Serve over ice. So refreshing, not astringent or bitter at all. Also great with a squeeze of lemon juice. You can double the recipe if needed. Hope that helps!

From the first sip, the Peach Black Tea is a delightful journey for the taste buds. The robust flavor of black tea provides a sturdy foundation, while the sweet and fruity notes of peach dance lightly on top, creating a harmonious blend that is both invigorating and soothing. The aroma is a prelude to the experience, with a fragrant bouquet that promises refreshment. And it delivers – each mouthful is like a sip of summer, no matter the season. It’s the perfect companion for a morning wake-up or an afternoon pick-me-up, versatile enough to be enjoyed hot for a cozy feeling, or iced for a cooling effect. What truly sets this tea apart is the natural sweetness. There’s no need for added sugars; the peach flavor is just right, providing a guilt-free indulgence. It’s clear that quality ingredients are used, as the tea leaves are full-bodied and the peach flavor tastes authentic, not artificial. In conclusion, Peach Black Tea is a must-try for tea enthusiasts and casual sippers alike. It’s a cup that brings a smile with its uplifting flavor and a sense of well-being with its antioxidant properties. A stellar example of what flavored teas should aspire to be, it’s a beverage that I’ll be returning to time and time again. I hope this review captures the essence of what makes peach black tea a delightful choice! 🍑

There are few things I love more than my morning tea! I'll even go so far as to say -- in the winter, good English Breakfast tea is essential to my survival! Recently, I became concerned with the waste associated with using teabags everyday. Furthermore, there is some real concern about the chemicals contained in the bags, not to mention the tea leaves themselves. I used to be a loyal Bigelow's customer, but their inconsistent answers about the source of their tea leaves has left me searching elsewhere. Positively Tea's English Breakfast tea is everything I was looking for -- and then some! Not just a certified organic loose leaf tea at a fantastic cost, but also a brilliant, robust, full-bodied taste! It's by far the best tea I've tasted. And a treat for the whole family every time it's made! The 1 lb version comes in a handy resealable plastic bag. We pour about 30 teaspoons into a smaller container for every day use, and storage the bag in the cabinet. Upon opening, you are hit by the bright aroma of the leaves and realize, "This is what tea is supposed to smell like!" The leaves have been dried in excellent, full-leaf quality. There are very few broken leaves, so there is a minimal amount of tea "dust" left in your cup. We use one teaspoon in a 20-oz teapot and brew for 3-5 minutes. You can fluctuate the amount slightly for the strength you desire. We tend to brew lighter in the afternoon to drink plain and then brew a stronger strength after dinner to drink with a spot of milk (and perhaps a bit of sweets!). With quality like this product, I am happy to continue to support this company and will extend the recommendation to my fellow tea-drinkers. Keep up the fantastic work, Positively Tea!
