I had all the different types successfully germinate, each had at least one dud in the germinating tray but I will have awesome habaneros of each type soon! 👍

I bought this pack mainly for the ghost pepper variety and I told myself I wasn’t going to write a review until they sprouted so, here we go, I started these babies 4/10/2025, and they sprouted 6 days later. I used a heat mat from Vivosun on Amazon and kept the temp set at 93. I wrapped aluminum foil around the silicone tray to keep the heat insulated. I also used a sandwich bag to cover the top to prevent moisture from leaving the tray. I wrote my label, and secured it in place where I knew a seed wouldn’t be underneath. I used coconut coir as my substrate and poked 30 holes. I received 29 ghost pepper seeds and all 29 have sprouted. I would recommend using a silicone ice cube tray as a cell tray, for it makes for such an easy transition when it comes time for transplanting. You just push it up from the bottom and the seedlings pop right out. Plus, the ice cube trays are just cheaper and much more reusable in comparison. Just find yourself a deep one.

*************************updated with results See pictures of how well 5 plants did for yellow habaneros! These were large in size and already made 16 ounces of powder! ******************Revised review - 1st set of seeds did not do well - here is the second set seeds review***************** Changed my setup to the Aerogarden with these results: 1) 100% germination ghost peppers 2) 100% germination Red Habaneros 3) 99% germination Orange Habaneros 4) 100% germination Yellow Habaneros 5) 98% germination - White Habaneros However, out of all of these varieties, I will no longer plant the white Habaneros as they produce such small fruits (Think of 1" x 1/4" size). Not sure why I wasted the space for 2025 - probably to get rid of the seeds. The Aserogarden REALLY made a difference - and this was on the 50 tray seed starter kit to boot! **********************************************Old Review*************************************************************** So I looked a the reviews, and people had a hard time with yellow and white habeneros. My setup: Grow lights Warm mats trays CLEAR Solo cups to provide plenty of growth - can even see the roots as the germinate Have grown for over 40 years different veggies. Usually, the orange are the EASIEST to grow of Habaneros and I tend to have struggles with the red. As I have a large garden, I planted all the seeds from all the packets. Here is the odd results: 1) Orange Habanero Seeds - 0 plants 2) Ghost Peppers - 0 plants (the water trick for the remaining six seeds showed these were not viable) 3) Red Habaneros - 60% Germination 4) Yellow Habaneros - 80% germination 5) White Habaneros - 87% Germination Yes - the allegedly HARDEST to grow did fantastic for me. The easiest to grow did nothing. Trying again one last time.

Great product, I had success with all the seeds except the white habaneros. They were the only ones that did not germinate. I used a heat mat with moisture and temperature probes. Seeds had good germination rate. I had success with 90 percent.
