Sperry Men's Authentic Original 2-Eye Boat Shoe

I have owned many pairs of Sperry boat shoes over the years. I find them very comfortable, easy to maintain, of high quality, and deliver years of wear before needing replacement. Scored this pair in my exact size at at a nicely discounted price. Highly recommend!

Although this took a little while to receive there was no damage to the shoes. They were in perfect condition.

Authentic Black and Brown Sperry Top-Sider Size 10 I ordered these shoes about two weeks ago, and received them within five days. These shoes are ideal for me because I love comfortable shoes. Expect these shoes to fit a little tight to your feet within the first few days. You may get a few blisters on the back of your feet while they are forming to the shape of your foot. With these shoes you don't even have to wear socks and knowing how lazy I am, these slip on shoes are perfect. I would say they are also ideal for college students who don’t like doing laundry, because there is no need to wash socks after wearing these Sperry’s. Not having to wear socks can cause some shoes to smell really awful after a while. But with the way these shoes breathe, the shoes expel whatever nasty things may have accumulated inside them. They are known as "boat shoes" because of their ability to stick the deck of a boat. That being said these shoes are extremely water proof and when it rains I still have good traction to the sidewalk. Not only are these shoes very resistant to water, they look FANTASTIC. You can wear them while doing both casual and formal activities. For example, I'm currently enrolled as a college student and I wear these to class all the time knowing that I could easily go home and make these shoes go well with a suit. I love the brand Sperry because there shoes look as good as some high-end dress shoes, but they are leaps and bounds cheaper. For these shoes you pay a little over one hundred dollars, while other brands charge nearly three times the price. Being a college student if I can save two hundred dollars and still like the shoes, that's a big deal for me. I would not recommend wearing them while driving though because they will crease where your foot bends to push the pedal. That is the only negative thing I can think of, because with the price you are paying they should not be creasing so easily. I would recommend buying these shoes 9 out of 10 times. Like I said before the only down side to these shoes is that they crease if you bend them. Besides that, these shoes are a must buy.

Been using for years, great quality and value.

Quality is way down from before! I've worn Sperrys for decades and they've always been well made. The last pair I bought from the Sperry store on Amazon had cheap thin leather laces and a much less durable sole and the color was lighter than before. I specifically bought the Sahara color. Since the company was bought last year the quality has dropped significantly. If you're able to find older stock you'll probably be fine. From reading countless blogs it seems that in 2024 Sperry was bought and changed their logo from a sailboat in a diamond (the well made shoes) to a sailboat in a circle (the new lower quality shoes). They also stopped putting the logo on the side of the shoe near the eyelets for the laces. Though this last pair I bought clearly showed the old logo in the Amazon pictures in both back of the shoe and on the side of the shoe, what they sent was the new version, the lower quality version. I'd give the Sperry store one more chance except that I also have bought and returned two other pair this fall in a different color. Both of these other pairs were actually the older better model but both time they sent the wrong size. If I buy Sperry again, and I really hope I can, it will only be from a brick and mortar store where I can see them in person first. I'm a huge Amazon customer buying almost everything here, but three trips to return three mistakes from the Amazon Sperry store has me feeling done.

I’ve always wanted a pair of top siders. I’ve been wearing a lot of moc-toe loafers and boots, but I didn’t have anything casual enough to wear with shorts and still look put together enough for a nice dinner. Pro’s: The toe box is nice and wide, toes. Lace system goes all the way around the back. It’s a true moccasin construction, stitched through to the sole. Very comfortable. More casual than a loafer, more formal than a sneaker. Very lightweight. A great value at $100. Cons: The sole is of course pretty thin, and I don’t know how comfortable these would be if you had to stand around all day in them. The insole, while contoured is a little thin and flimsy. I’d like to put my own insole in these, but It’s glued in. I’m. Sure they should pull out easy enough. I’m guessing they do that to keep the insole from shifting around. All in all, I’m going to stick with my 5, because I knew what they are when I ordered them, and they exceeded my expectations at $100. A very versatile, and comfortable preppy classic.

Husband wore these for our wedding and they were perfect! He said they were comfortable!
