I really wanted to give the CHI Styling Kit a fair try before writing a review, and I can confidently say I'm so happy with it! What I Liked: ~ Effortless styling: I’m AuDHD, so styling my hair needs to be quick and simple. My dream style is flipping my head upside down, blow-drying for 2 minutes, and looking fabulous. Most products don’t support that dream (I've tried countless at Target), however, these do! Even with the right haircut from the salon, effortless styling evaded me... turns out, it was the products I was using, and these changed the narrative. Oh. My. Gosh. ~ Lightweight + color-safe: This was another big one for me. Nothing in this kit felt heavy or greasy, which was huge for me. My hair is flat-as-paper thin, and heavy products just make it sad. These worked with my hair amazingly. So for thin hair, it's a win. ~ Chi Infra Silk Infusion = magic ends: My hair is color-treated and dries out easily, especially since I only wash it once or twice a week (red hair problems). The Silk Infusion left my ends soft, glossy, and revived and literally softened my hair immediately, first use. Little goes a long way too. ~ Infra Texture Hairspray: My absolute favorite product of the set. Normally, I hate hairspray. I’m super sensitive to smells, and most sprays feel like an asthma attack in a can. The nozzle for the hairspray is a dream and is shockingly easy to control the amount and flow. You get real control over how much comes out. With drugstore sprays, it’s always been like getting punched in the face by a water hose. This was more like a fine mist that you can even layer without your hair becoming stiff as cardboard. It does have a salon-type scent which was not my favorite, but it wasn't overwhelming, and I didn’t have to run out of the room after spraying it, which is a big deal for me (because normally, I do that every time with other hairsprays). ~ ALL Together: The products hold well together and feels super lightweight with little residue. Even on day 3 after washing, my hair still looks styled and doesn’t feel full of product or heavy in the least. I didn’t reapply anything on day 2 applying the products, just used my hair diffuser on low. On day 3, I freshened up a little with a little more product and diffuser, and it still held beautifully. What Could Be Better: ~ The scent is… meh: It’s not bad. It’s not great. It’s just “salon-y.” I’m very sensitive to smells, and while this didn’t give me a headache, I’d love to see an unscented version in the future. Seriously, that'd slay. ~ The 44 Iron Guard is hard to evaluate: I assume it’s doing its job protecting my hair from heat, but it’s kind of the silent partner of the trio. Not sure if it’s a superstar or just showing up to work. Final Thoughts: This is the first time I’ve found a hair set I can actually use without regret and will strongly consider getting this again in the future. For my super fine, thin, picky hair, this set is a total win. If you like a tousled, pop star kind of layered style and don’t want to spend 45 minutes on your hair, you might really love this. As a note, everyone’s hair is different, even thin hair, but this kit worked beautifully for me and it's nice to see a high quality product on the market. Bottom Line: I’m not in love with the scent, but I am in love with how my hair looks, feels, and styles with this set. And that’s what counts.

This a really nice styling set. It says it's a gift kit, and it is packaged for gift giving. My wife has been using this during travel as they fit well for travel size. The silk infusion leaves her hair soft. She loves the heat guard for when she uses curling irons and blow dryers, and the hairspray holds well without being stiff. She likes that each one was came shrink wrapped so they didn't spill or make a mess. Being cruelty free is a plus. My wife said she'd buy it again.

I like Chi products and I bought this set to try out some versions of hair products I don't have. delivered in a trio shrink type clear plastic which is great, and the silk is prefect for travel!

This is a really good set to use when you use the Chi hairstyling set especially, but also for other sets. The three products work exactly as they should without getting heavy or greasy. It's a good set to have on hand if you straighten out your hair often.

The kit has 3 products: 2 oz. CHI Silk Infusion, 2 oz. CHI Iron Guard, and 2.6 oz. CHI Texture Hair Spray. Each item was individually wrapped inside the kit. The products are travel size. There’re instructions of the products on the kit box and on each bottle. CHI Silk Infusion: The instructions doesn’t specify if this product can be used on wet or dry hair. I used it on damp hair before drying my hair with blow dryer. It has a oily texture; however, it absorbs very quickly (within 5 minutes), and once it’s absorbed, my hair did not feel or look oily at all. It immediately made my hair softer. CHI Iron Guard: I used as instructed. Sprayed evenly on each section of dry hair before using curling iron. CHI Texture Hair Spray: I used this product as final touch after drying and styling my hair. It definitely helped with the fuzziness of tiny and short hairs and had long lasting effect. Overall, after using all three products, my hair looks shinier, softer, and smoother. I love these products and would recommend them.

Love this so much. I get my hair the straightest and most slick whenever I use this set! Doesn’t leave my hair greasy at all!
