Absolutely love this book so far. Perfect for learning new patterns. I am new to colouring. I will get many hours of use out of this book and refer to it in future. Pens do bleed through so you will need something behind each page when you colour. Highly recommend

Excellent book to help you design and practice your colouring. Lots of different ideas and step by steps. This is an essential in the step into coco wyo colouring books!!

What a fantastic and useful book. Whether you are a complete beginner, or a more experienced colourist looking for inspiration, this book has got everything you need. Lots of really easy to follow step by step tutorials for all sorts of different effects, patterns and textures, and what I really love are the pages and pages of ideas and extra reference patterns for when you're feeling a bit stuck. Also there are some cute full colouring pages at the back. The illustrations, as usual, are absolutely adorable. I'd totally recommend this book to anyone who has become addicted to the cute and cosy colouring trend.

Paper quality could be improved (thickness) , results in a bit of ink bleeding. But the actual activities are fantastic. Adult undertaking colouring.

So far so good. Have been enjoying learning new patterns. Has got me trying to be more creative with my colouring.

Several examples of how to apply hard shading and highlights, how to blend, how to add patterns and draw unique details. Shows how to do create patterns as; patchwork, knitting, glitter, fruits, flowers, insects, glass, stones and earth, Cristal, cement, honeycomb, melting drip, tiles, bricks, scales, rust, wood, ocean foam, bubbles, ripples, puddles, animal spots, hair, fur, sky, etc etc etc….. There are loads of pages to test out ideas, mix and match effects, textures and patterns before you use in your final book. If you want to master and enjoy even more your coloring experience, I highly recommend this book. “Practice makes perfect”

Bought for my girlfriend, she loves it. really good for inspiration, and unique patterns and styles of colouring in. Good quality book too. Would recommend using a sheet of card behind each page, so that the ink doesn't run through to the next page.

Ein wirklich gutes Lern Buch wenn man lernen möchte struktur zu machen, muster usw. auch super Toll als Inspo. man mann nicht weiß wie man am boden oder wänden machen soll gibt es extra 5 seiten nur mir Inspo. Am ende gibt es noch 6 seiten (bildern) die du malen kannst um im praxis zu setzen was du gelernt hast. Es ist auch alles beschrieben was du alles brauchst, also was für stiften um verscheiden Strukturen zu machen, ebens falls die schritten die zu befolgen musst.

I absolutely love this book! It’s perfect for beginners who want to learn how to draw patterns and textures — the explanations are clear and easy to follow, and there are even practice pages at the end! It’s absolutely amazing! I haven’t gone through the entire book yet, but I definitely plan to. It truly feels like a coloring class you can follow at your own pace and in your own way!

Wat een fantastisch boek! Perfect voor wanneer je gek bent op kleuren, en je je kleurvaardigheden naar een hoger level wilt tillen. In het boek staan verschillende patronen uitgelegd, waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van verschillende materialen (alcoholmarkers, acrylstiften, potlood, gelpen en fineliner). De patronen worden in kleine, makkelijk te volgen stappen uitgelegd waardoor je zelf de mooiste creaties kunt maken zonder onzeker te worden over waar je moet beginnen. Naast patronen oefenen, zitten er achterin het boek pagina’s met diverse tekeningen (van kleding en dieren tot eten en voorwerpen) waarop je kunt gaan oefenen met zelf patronen creëren. Uiteraard zitten hier ook voorbeelden bij van Coco Wyo, om je te helpen inspiratie op te doen wanneer je overweldigd wordt door een witte pagina. Helemaal achterin het boek vind je nog 5 kleurplaten om alle opgedane vaardigheden zelf toe te gaan passen in de praktijk. Een super compleet boek dus, en een absolute aanrader als je gek bent op kleuren en op eenvoudige manier wilt leren hoe je nóg mooiere creaties maakt! Het papier is wat aan de dunne kant, dus volg zeker het advies van Coco Wyo op en leg er een plastic sheet of dik karton tussen wanneer je aan de slag gaat met bijvoorbeeld alcoholmarkers :)
