Worked for my Dell N5040
Snapped in nice, one of the locks was a bit tight when I went to close it. Plugged the charger in and fired the computer up and the battery read 53% and it was charging. Charged to 100% and the computer no longer complains that the battery should be replaced. We'll see how long it lasts. Great price seeing as an OEM Dell is $100.

Worked on my brother’s Dell
This was a great fit to my brother’s Dell laptop. We just snapped it in and turned on the laptop. :) The battery was already at least 60% charged. We plugged in the cord and it started to charge with no issues. I really am not able to comment yet on battery life but will update after a few days of usage. Very happy with this purchase.

Installed in a snap and a charge lasts longer than expected
Though I haven't had this long enough to speak for its longevity, it's been true to the seller's description and the best of others' reviews in every way so far. It snapped right in to my Dell Inspiron and it basically installed itself in a few moments. Starting at about 75% it quickly reached full charge and then I let in drain down before recharging fully again. Given the quality control issues that turn up in so many of the generics, I didn't have high expectations that when I unplugged the charge would even last the 2 or so hours that seem to be typical at best. So I was astounded that after that long it was still showing a charge of 57% . So long as this keeps up I couldn't be happier!

Battery initially charged up and ran OK, but after three months, will not charge. Not recommended.

Easy and works well
My laptop battery wouldn't hold a charge and only worked if it was plugged in. If the plug fell out, computer shut down and you lost whatever you were working on. I needed a new battery fast, and not too expensive. This fit the bill perfectly. It was easy to install and works just like it should.

There really isn't much to say, other than chosing the right battery can be a pain. No problems here, as spot on.
