I’ve used a few different pool vacuums and this is the first one I actually trust to get everything clean before a pool party. The fact that it’s corded is a big plus for me. No worrying about battery life or whether it’ll make it through the full clean. I just plug it in and it runs until the job is done. The suction is strong and it picks up all the debris I usually have in the pool like leaves, sand, and bugs. I use the Ultra Clean mode before guests come over and it always looks great. It also scrubs the walls and waterline, which makes a big difference in how clean the pool looks overall. The auto-dock feature is really convenient too. When it’s done, it moves to the edge of the pool so it’s easy to pull out without getting wet. I’ve had good experience with Poolmate products before and this one lives up to the same standard. I would definitely recommend this one if you want something reliable and easy to use.

I was all excited about getting a new pool cleaner as I had a Wybot and have had nothing but problems with the battery charging. We have had it sent back and returned which took months and the battery has died again after a month. I received the corded Poolmate 4SE with high hopes that the corded version would not have the same draw back as the cordless units out there. Unpacked the unit, which was well packaged and went to put it in the pool. Connected it up to the power unit and powered on, no problems thus far. I connected the unit to the Bluetooth app with no issues and put the cleaner in the pool. Again no problems up to this point. Decided to watch the unit for a few minutes clean.....This is when all went south. The cleaner cleaned beautifully on the walls for about 5min then just stopped at the bottom of the pool, no movement. I pulled the unit up with a hook and low and behold no lights on the cleaner. Moved the power box to a different outlet in which my salt generator is powered and working fine, again no lights on the cleaner and not connecting through Bluetooth, due to the lack of power to the unit. Used a volt meter to check the power coming out of the power box, one pin has 26vdc nothing on any of the rest of the pins. Bottom line is the unit is DOA, this is not a good start in my book for the Poolmate brand. I have scheduled a return on this product and will assume at this point this is a lemon unit. If anyone from Poolmate reads this I would hope the QC process will be changed so that this doesn't happen very often, otherwise it will be another pool robot brand that will not be around very long.

I want to say. I just received this pool vacuum and so far. Its doing GREAT. IT CLIMBS THE WALLS, STEPS,FLOOR. EVERYTHING. This is my third vacuum that I have purchased. The other 2 ones were terrible. I returned them. And ordered this one. Have had it for a week now. U download app, BEFORE putting in a water. U can schedule times to come on. Easy to set up as well. Will follow up in a month or so to post if I still love it

I have tried and sent back 2 other robots until the poolmate 4se. It cleans small debri and picks up leaves. It's a little slow, but powerful. I am satisfied so far.

This pool cleaner did not disappoint as it features powerful suction and two scrubbing rollers that covers the bottom sides and up to the waterline consistently and completely. I replaced my Dolphin Triton pool cleaner with this Poolmate cleaner and it was a nice upgrade that has Bluetooth connection capability to set single or regularly scheduled cleaning up to 4 hour cycles. I prefer the corded cleaner because it can run longer and on a schedule contrary to the cordless cleaners that have to be lifted out and recharged frequently. The large basket is easy to lift out and clean and it does a great job picking up fine material and larger leaves and debris in our large pool and hot tub. I highly recommend this pool cleaner at a great price on Amazon.

The Hydro 4SE is a very nice unit and cleans the walls and water line well. I would only recommend this unit for the most basic pools. The unit will not clean your Bench's or steps at all.
