Noctua NF-A4x10 5v PWM Fan In my opinion, these fans live up to their premium quality advertisement. Build quality is excellent, noise is very minimal, and the 40 millimeter depth allows for extra airflow. You may not enjoy the color but I'm confident you will enjoy the quality and performance. Used to cool to steering wheel pedal sets they perform quite well and are nearly silent. Cooling is very efficient. These can be mounted with screws or with the included rubber grommets. Please bear in mind these are for 5 volt current not 12 volt. They will work with both PWM or direct voltage applications

I've used Noctua fans in several home-build computers. Great quality and whisper quiet. This Noctua NF-A4x10 5V PWM comes with mounting hardware and USB adapter cable. Plug it in to any USB-A power source and it's on. Compact and quiet. Small size does not provide huge airflow. Yet perfect for quietly cooling small electronics. I have it on top of our cable modem which gets very hot without a fan.

Worked extremely well for my usecase of keeping an NVME SSD cooled. The fan is extremely quiet, and I love the classic Noctua colors. It puts out a LOT more air than you'd think for a fan this quiet. Since installing it, the heavily used nvme SSD's temps have gone from therrmal throttling at 85c almost all the time, to a cool and comfy 35c. I simply drilled a hole in the top cover of my mini PC and attached the fan. Boom no more thermal throttling. It's perfect.

It’s exactly what you want it for. Has great air volume for its size, fairly quiet from the easily controlled low speed to full speed, it’s the perfect size for those Pi projects, and it’s a Noctua fan. It’s built right, great price and keeps your small electronics cool.

Zip tied this using the open vent grates to the top of a modern Seagate Expansion external hard drive. Added electrical tape to all other exposed area at the top to ensure the fan would have to pull cool air through the open grate at the bottom of the housing. SMART reported temps dropped from 50-55 degrees C under heavy load to not budging over 35 degrees C. Perfect fit for the 40mm case. The fan is fairly audible at full speed, but I will use PWM through an Arduino to control the fan speed dynamically with the drive temp. Great option if you need to keep small electronics cool! No idea what Seagate was thinking by relying on passive convection to cool such a hot drive, but this Noctua saved the day.

I used this to replace the control board fan in a Bambu X1C 3D printer - the stock fan is of poor quality and becomes noisy, with many users experiencing this. (I do expect Bambu to change suppliers.) This fan fits where the stock fan does, but requires that you splice the original connector to the Noctua cable. This is where it gets annoying. The so-called "OmniJoin" is just a set of four pushbutton splice connectors. You have to cut off the Noctua connector and splice the individual wires to those from the original connector. The leads must be stripped, and you have only one chance to use the splice button to connect them. I gave up and soldered the leads. Noctua fans don't move a lot of air, but they are quiet. For this application, the fan was fine.

Just got the fan was on backorder for two weeks and so far very happy with it; I needed a 5V fan powered off USB, and this has both. Quiet as any other Noctua fan while performing very well. Use it to cool my Vive Wireless VR adapter that overheats after 30 minutes of use normally. The cable quality is excellent got a rubber sheath and heat shrink molding, though this is also a complaint as outlined below. Will likely buy one or two more soon to replace the aging (and loud) fans for networking appliances. Saw some reviews comment on excessive packaging, well this package is much more environmentally conscious, no huge plastic holders to all the different parts, just a cardstock box and fan holder. Not really negatives but if Noctua is looking for feedback, been replacing new computer builds with the Chromax black version, so hopefully Noctua can make these in black one day. I don't really need my fans to stand out; they just need to their job. My only real gripe is the cable is fixed length; since it's a small fan it's likely use in limited space environments that don't need such a long rubber sheathed cable. All my newer Noctua 12V computer fans come with a short connect on the fan and then few extension choices, this one is a fixed 30 cm cable.

El ventilador del mini pc minisforum, funcionaba irregularmente, haciendo a menudo un ruido escandaloso, como no encontraba recambios me decidí a buscar un ventilador con connector de 4pins a 5v para remplazarlo a mi manera (ver fotos 😅) La verdad es que esto muy contento, como el ordenador esta escondido y no se ve, me da igual su apariencia, y este ventilador Noctua funciona de maravilla y de forma muy silenciosa. Me sorprendió por su precio, la cantidad de accesorios que trae consigo, adaptador usb, cable alargador, tornillos, gomas de anclaje, etc. Se nota que es un producto de mucha calidad, hasta tiene las esquinas blandas para evitar al máximo transmitir las vibraciones del mismo al ordenador y evitar así amplificar el poco ruido que pueda hacer

Ich nutze immer dann Lüfter von Noctua, wenn es besonders leise sein soll - und das sind sie! Sie sind aber nicht nur besonders leise, sie haben zugleich auch einen sehr guten Durchsatz und sehr zuverlässig, premium eben. Auch das Zubehör ist umfangreicher, so sind z.B. dämpfende Gummiaufhängungen dabei. Der Lüfter kommt in meinem Bambu Lab P1S zum Einsatz, um das etwas leiser zu kühlen. Ich finde, der Austausch des Lüfters hat sich ausgezahlt.

The added USB cable saved me a lot of headache. Really good documentation on the cable colors. All in all a very good fan :)

しっかりしたパッケージに十分なパーツ、静音さも素晴らしい。ただのファンなのに、高級感があって、ブランドの評判に違わないモノでした。 もう少し回転数が高いともっとよかった。
