worked great with a hand palm router, using for cutting 1/8" recess in pine wood. Just make sure the bit is not touching! Easy to install, a good deal.

These are very nice quality. We used them in close tolerance in a plunge router, so our bits occasionally come in contact with them and tear them up, but the soft brass saves the bit. The machining on the threads is nice and smooth. The rub collar itself is a nice depth, as we run a lot of shallow templates, and we’ve had to cut down other brands cause they’d be too long and bottom out. I really like these and keep a few on hand since our guys run these on 12 different routers. We ran the porter cable brand originally but I believe they stopped making them, because we are having a hard time finding them. These are a great replacement.
