This is a great megaphone and for the price quite astronishingly well made. It needs four size C batteries but it gives good sound - perfect for calling people in from the garden or warning off burglars/trespasses in the middle of the night. Highly recommend.

I got this for my son for Halloween as he wanted to be the singer of the Gorillaz, it looked perfect and the noise level can be quiet and very loud! It’s defo sturdy as he dropped it a lot and still survived and he even uses it now. It’s got a few settings on there but it is easy to understand and use. At 20 Watts output it is approximately twice as loud as normal speech at ten meters? You need to talk very close up with your lips nearly touching it to drive it. I glued a small bit of foam rubber over the microphone to calm down breath noises that works well. However, the siren would alleviate the most serious of conditions of constipation, so don't set it off behind your adorable granny. It is extremely loud and could I'm certain give you instant instant Tinnitus at close distances, Be very carful how you use the siren!!! I give the siren 5*****. The build and finish is quite good with reasonable quality of plastic throughout. Would I recommend it, probably yes, for the siren but not so much the speaker/haler. If its the hailer your interested in most I would go for at least 50w upwards. Doubling the watts output will not double its loudness - ohms law needs to be consulted in that area to understand it.

This is the best thing I have bought all year. I use it to communicate with my teens who just ignore me. There is no ignoring this. If you are a parent of teen boys this is a must buy essential. Bought as a gag gift. Seems very good quality and works well. Only issue was that it arrived in the box showing what was inside, which was not ideal as it was a gift, but fortunately the recipient did not see it. I may have missed a notification when ordering that it did not come in Amazon packaging, so be aware of this.
