I purchased this to cover a long scratch on my car. The trim worked like a charm. There have been no issues with the trim falling off during car washes and rain. My only issue was that I did reinforce a small 2-3 inch section with thicker double-sided tape where my door was dented a bit. Also, thinking that the trim would not stick very well or would fall off, I bought more trim than I needed (i.e., 32 feet instead of 16 feet). It is a waste of money unless the trim I attached falls off completely.

I used this car trim to turn our Cozy Coupe into a mini Volkswagen, and I’m OBSESSED! The trim was super easy to work with—flexible but sturdy—and it gave the whole project such a polished, finished look. Now our little car has total retro vibes and looks like it rolled right out of a vintage road trip. 😍 My kids think it’s the coolest thing ever, and I’ve definitely caught a few jealous glances from other parents at the park 😂 If you’re thinking about doing a Cozy Coupe glow-up, this trim is a must. 10/10 — from the proud owner of the tiniest VW bug on the block! 💛🚘🌼

It’s a nice product, very sticky. I don’t know why people are saying it doesn’t stick. I put a piece on crooked and it was not easy to take back off to fix. That being said, it’s not like a perfect mirror. There are wrinkles in the reflection. But all and all it looks good. I put it on my doors to help protect them from car doors.

The black version looks fine in the shade but when you put it in the sun, it has a purple pearlescent hue to it like it has UV damage from years of exposure to the sun. It would look terrible on a black car like mine. I am returning it. Update: When I contacted Seller for a return, they notified me there was a blue protective film on it. I thought it was only on the chrome version because I could not see it on my black version. The ends were cut so precisely that there is no evidence of the blue film, I had to pick at it like 20 times with my nail before it released. I put it on and it looks great!

Inferior product, fake 3M adhesive, circular shape from being rolled, was difficult to overcome even after heating with a heat gun and straightening it would curl up again and did not adhere well to my car.

Trim peeled off the vehicle. I cleaned and dried the surface before install. Unfortunately a large section feel off of the car.

A grocery cart scratched the rear bumper just below the Black plastic below the rear door of my 4 Runner. Used touch up paint but could not get it to look right. Applied this and it looks great. Didn't like the GLOSS look so I used wire wool to buff out the gloss and that worked great. The 1/2" was perfect for what I needed. I have read a few reviews were there were complaints about the adhesion. I tried a smaller piece and took off the adhesive tape and it came off the trim pretty easy so, if the trim does come loose I will put on some of that VHB tape which will stick it forever.!!
