These drapes are of a very nice quality. Accurate color, soft fabric and for the price, definately added value. Although its a thick material, unless you have blinds underneath your drapes, you are going to see some daylight shining through . These drapes would not be considered total "blackout." (Not like something you'd find at a hotel.) A better description would be darkening drapes. They worked in my case because it darkened the room enough with blinds underneath it. Looks beautiful and I recommend for the quality alone.

I first bought these same color black and same length/width curtains in 2022, and my recent order of 52” wide by 84” long in black is exactly the same perfect size as before —nothing has changed. They’re easy to install, look beautiful, keep the room dark, retain heat, and have minimal factory odor. Very durable and still perfect after years of use— when bright sunlight hits it you can see light coming through but it still keeps my space dark. One side of my room is facing the sun, and the other side isn’t. I’m very happy with this order!

These are good curtains overall and do a terrific job at blocking out light. Our room is so dark in the morning even with the sun shining outside. The material is decent...thin but not too thin and doesn't look cheap like other ones I bought first. They do not iron out well and have some wrinkle to them, but the dark brown color hides them well. The brown is beautiful and rich and looks very lovely against my beige painted walls. The only negative I have to say, and reason for 4 out of 5 stars, is that the length is inconsistent. I had to buy 2 packs of 4 panels and they are different lengths. One pack came with the correct size of 84" and the other came with 83" length. I have it on the side where it is not easily seen from the floor and put the 84" ones where it is clearly visible. Poor manufacturing to have inconsistent and incorrect lengths, but luckily I was able to make it work.

These are very nice curtains. As others have mentioned, they don’t have a black liner sewn in-between as shown in the product images but nonetheless black out probably 90-95% of the light in my bedroom at high noon in California. For reference, my windows face south. Also as others have mentioned, the light grey color is more of a medium grey. Not exactly charcoal but somewhere in the middle. I actually like this better. For the reviews that mention wrinkles: of course they’re wrinkled! They come neatly folded in a clear, zippered pouch. Set your iron on a low, synthetic setting, add a little steam and they’re good to go! From unpacking to inspection and ironing, I had them hung on a curtain rod in about 30 minutes. 100 % poly material is soft & thick. Quality seams & sewing. Both panels were exactly the same width & length. Very pleased, highly recommend, super price, overnight shipping. Thanks AMZ! 🙂

I bought the HOMEIDEAS blackout curtains in the greyish-green color for our east-facing family room, and I’ve been very happy with them. The color is a soft, muted green with subtle gray undertones. In certain light, they can occasionally look to be more of a light gray. These replaced expensive dark maroon drapes that we have had for 20 years so I was worried the color might be too dull, but once they were up, I actually really liked the way they gave the room a calm, relaxed feel. I love that they really are light-blocking. Since our family room gets blasted with sunlight first thing in the morning, we needed something to cut the glare and keep the heat out on these really hot summer days. These drapes did the trick. While they don’t make the room pitch black because light sneaks in around the edges, they do block out the harsh sunlight and soften everything, which is exactly what we needed. I'd say they block about 95% of the light, which makes the room feel cooler and we still get a little bit of natural light in the mornings.. The fabric feels thick and soft — definitely more substantial than I expected for the price. They hang nicer than our old expensive grommet drapes too, with the soft folds making them look much more expensive than they are without being too formal. One thing to note because i have seen others complain: Yes they came folded pretty tightly and had some creases. I hung them for a few days then only had to do a light steaming on the deeper creases before they looked beautiful. In all, I love these drapes and hope to buy more for our master bedroom when our budget allows it.

The curtains are excellent. They have made the bedroom darker and helping us sleep better as they block out the sunlight in the early morning.
