These things have been a lifesaver. I am a self-taught sewer who learned from my grandmother and cut my teeth as a costumer in low budget theatre. I have to really work to get it off the machine or move it, so I'm not concerned about sliding. Not used for sewing, but for my laser engraver to hold items in place and allow for fast positioning to engrave multiple instances of items. The magnets are STRONG, they stay put without any movement. This 3 pack is perfect for project alignments.

I still have not been able to use them, the fabric or my hands always get in the way and knocks them off, so I've just given up.

The bright colors help me see the edges of my fabric better, and the magnet is strong enough to stick to my stitch plate and not budge!
