American made with simplicity in mind
This is exactly what you need for security of your surroundings in your most vulnerable, sleeping. The build quality is exactly what you need. Plastic lightweight. The price for these units are what is to be expected unless you plan on doing the old string and cans perimeter. The loudness, a police siren is loud enough that you can't miss this in a camping environment. It's purpose is to warn. It's not to defend. So if you are expecting this to protect you ah you are sadly mistaken. You don't need some high technology to warn you of a possible threat at a camping site. Multiple ways to secure to a tree by zip tie or screw into the tree. Very simple and practical and bonus it's made in North Carolina. Worth the money and easy to deploy. Great product when it could be life or death. Bonus it has solar charging or plug charging. Best of both world's

Great product until the battery runs low
So, I received my two pack of these tripwire alarms. As advertised, they are loud, and straightforward to set up and operate. The kevlar tripwire is very thin and strong, and the mechanism that lets it out for setup, and also reels it back in is clever, and intuitive. They each came with sufficient hardware to permanently install these- screws, drywall type inserts, and even some zip ties if you want to install without screws... But, here's something that's really baffling about these devices: the CHARGING PORT IS LOCATED ON THE BACK OF THE ALARM. Now, I suppose that perhaps the designer assumes that you'll only ever need to charge it once? But still, this is like designing a toilet stall, and mounting the toilet paper holder on the outside of the door to the toilet... The charging port has a nice, little rubber plug to presumably make it weather resistant- so why? I am still satisfied with these, but amused at how wrong this design is. Functionally, it's great until you might need to charge it- at which point you must uninstall it to do so. I suppose it would most often be unreasonable to reach it with its 30cm charging cord in situ; but still have to point and laugh at this. This has to be the silliest charging port ever.

Security & Peace of mind
I bought this trip wire alarm for extra security while camping, and it works exactly as advertised. The design is simple but very effective — loud enough to wake you up if anything crosses the line. It’s lightweight, packs small, and sets up quickly. I feel a lot safer knowing I’ll get an early warning if someone or something comes near my camp at night. Definitely a great piece of gear for anyone who values peace of mind outdoors.

Not perfect but worth the money.
The item works as advertised. I would likely purchase it again, but there are things to consider. I bought it for bear security. The 80 feet of cord created a smaller area of security than I would have preferred. The lite wheight of the string made it prone to tangling easily if one is not careful. The position of the arming button and charging port requires you to be able to remove it from where it is mounted. This keeps others from being able to shut it off without knowledge of the device, but it is inconvenient to the user. Lastly, setup and take down of the string is a bit of a drag as you must manually release and later wind up the string. Still it works and I will continue to use it. For the price it was worth buying.

Excellent Product
I picked this up for my bug-out bag, and it’s now a permanent part of my kit. The digital alarm is LOUD and reliable — exactly what you need if you want to secure a perimeter in the woods or protect gear while traveling. It’s compact, reusable, and simple to operate, which makes it perfect for emergency preparedness. Highly recommend for anyone serious about survival gear.

GREAT...but, wish it used batteries.
Would have given 5 stars if these ran on batteries. These are GREAT alarms. But the solar power doesn't work under tree canopy. And I'm STILL not sure on just how long it will run on a full charge. I've got too much life stuff going on to try figure out this things run time. 🤷♀️ Batteries would work SO MUCH BETTER. That said, it's a shame because this unit is actually super cool and easy to use. The design is fabulous. Just need to make a battery run model.

Defective, simple with no arming light
Doesn't work, only one little red powerlight, doesn't tell you whether it's armed or not directly plugged in and still didn't work.
