Excellent Organic Boost for Plants
I’ve been using the Alaska Fish Fertilizer (5-1-1) for a couple of months now, and it’s become a staple in my gardening routine. If you're looking for an organic, OMRI-listed fertilizer that gives noticeable results without synthetic chemicals, this is an excellent choice. I use it primarily on vegetables, herbs, and a few fruiting plants like tomatoes and peppers. After the first few applications, I noticed stronger stems, more vibrant leaf color, and faster overall growth. My tomato plants, in particular, responded extremely well—they went from a slow crawl to producing blossoms within a week or two of feeding. It’s also done wonders for basil, cucumbers, and even some of my flower beds. Application is straightforward—just mix with water according to the instructions. The only caveat, as others have mentioned, is the fishy odor. It’s not overpowering if you dilute it properly and apply it during cooler parts of the day, but don’t expect it to smell like roses. Fortunately, the smell dissipates quickly and hasn’t attracted pests or caused any lingering issues in my garden. The 115 oz bottle is a good value for the size—especially if you have a larger garden or plan to fertilize multiple times during the growing season. I like that it’s safe to use around pets and kids once it’s watered in. Overall, this is a high-performing, trustworthy product that delivers what it promises. Just hold your nose and enjoy the results!

Amazing plant fertilizer
This is a good value for a large jug. This January my house plants were looking a bit sad. So I ordered this fish fertilizer, gave it a dilution, and man did my plants perk up. I live on the 43rd parallel, so didn't think houseplants would need to be fed in January. Well, I guess they are considered tropical, so they definitely needed some nutrients. This is a universal fertilizer that I use outside on my perennials and my roses. They love it. I combine it with some sea salt, and throughout the summer this fertilizer makes everything look great. It is very smelly, so you will definitely need to take a shower after you administer this to multiple plants! And after one day of using this indoors, you will smell it. But eventually it absorbs into the soil and the odor disappears. So I wouldn't be using it the day before you have company, hee hee. And, be wary that some pets might want to put their nose in your house plants after you use this. My dogs like to dig around my plants when I use it outside in the spring. So on days I fertilize, dogs are not with me. But this stuff works! thank you Amazon for making this available.

Great stuff!!
I have used this for several years on my ferns. My ferns are massive and very healthy, they love this stuff. The smell is awful but since I use on outdoor plants, it goes away in a couple of days.

Organic Fertilizer
I started using Organic Alaska Fish Fertilizer x 10 years now. It promotes vigorous plant growth. The liquid emulsion is derived from fish byproducts, delivers nitrogen for lush foliage along with phosphorus and potassium, plus micronutrients that support soil microbes without burning plants. The strong fish smell lingers briefly after application. It may be pricier than alternatives, though concentrate stretches far.

Works fantastically!!
Works wonderful!!! We live in interior Alaska, where the dirt here is absolutely dead.😩 ok, not quite...super acidic and potatoes love it.😂 Flowers do not love it. I had planted perennials about 6 years ago, and each year they look less and less well. Last year I bought Jobe fertilizer sticks and put them all over the berm! The tree sticks killed one birch and damaged another.😭 flowers did not have any improvement. This year we tried the fish fertilizer and WOW did we see an improvement within a couple weeks!! My little fern that suffered along the past several years, grew about 4 times its size this year! Granted, it's only about a foot tall now, but still!😂 Anyways, you won't regret buying it! Yes, it does smell like rotting fish..my husband says it smells like being at a fish wheel, but without the bonus of fish.🤣 dilute it according to package directions. We watered the plants with it then took a hose with shower attachment and watered over it to help it soak in better.
