A Lifesaver!
This is a great smart to track a variety of vitals. I specifically needed a smart ring that would measure my blood oxygen and track sleep apnea events and hypoxia. Not many rings can do that but this one can. Well worth the money, I have it on all the time, and I work as a mailman, so I'm on there in all elements wearing this, in the shower, at work, asleep, still works perfectly. I couldn't be happier and I daresay this product helped save my life. I ended up getting a cpap because it confirmed I had severe sleep apnea. Tracks your steps, heart rate, blood oxygen, kcals burned, sleep quality, stress levels (although the stress level accuracy I don't think is very accurate). I switched from the fitbit to this, comfortable lightweight and has a long battery. BE SURE to FIRST GET THE RingConn sizer. Itll be a box with a bunch of different size plastic rings. Its important because the girth of your finger changes throughout the day and its important to find one that fits well and is comfortable for all day use.

Way better than the more mainstream competitors.
I absolutely love this ring! I got this after my Galaxy ring stopped working after 6 months. And this thing is phenomenal! Health metrics are spot on. Step counter, vitals (heart, oxygen temp), and sleep tracker: all extremely accurate. The color is nice and it feels very durable. It doesn't feel like cheap plastic or like it's going to break. It definitely fits wonderfully and it is not bulky. It's supper comfortable and feels like it's not even there. Switching to the ringconn gen 2, best decision I ever made.

I LOVE this ring!
I’ve been wearing this tracking ring for 5 months now, nonstop, & I LOVE IT. I really just wanted to track my sleep, my activity, & my stress throughout the day, plus I wanted to make sure I didn’t have an apnea issue. Comfort wise, RingConn is thinner than the Oura ring, & less annoying feeling (to me) than wearing an Apple watch. I get very rashy from wearing anything with nickel content - a previous Apple watch & band clasp made me rashy even. So one of the things I was concerned about was the nickel content. I’m happy to report that I have zero sensitivity or rashy response. Looks wise, I love that silicone covers in many colors are cheap to buy. It does say it’s water resistant, but I err on the side of caution & don’t soak it in water or shower with it on. But the best part: the function! This ring (with only the free app, no extra paid plan required), gave me an apnea test over multiple nights & ruled out any issues. It maps out my REM, deep sleep, light sleep, & activity every night & gives me a sleep score & total sleep time. RingConn tracks my stress & alerts me when my stress levels spike. It does take about 30-ish mins for it to alert me, but its been very helpful for me to know. It also holds its charge for almost 2 weeks, & from a very low charge fully charges back up in a little over an hour. That is FAR less frequent charging than an Apple watch needs. The most interesting thing: one day RingConn told me I had a headache COMING ON. I was confused bc I felt nothing. For 3 days, it showed this warning. Since I had only worn it for a month at the time, I thought I got a malfunctioning ring. BUT then! On the 4th day, I woke up sick! So RingConn literally warned me that I was getting sick (& was possibly contagious) before I even felt any symptom at all. I am super aware of my body, so this was amazing to me. That was the only time I have been sick since I’ve worn RingConn so I’ll be interested to see if it warns me similarly the next time I get sick. I took a chance on RingConn during black Friday, so I got a great deal on it. Even at full price, I would highly recommend this. I love mine!

Definitely worth considering
To start, I want to say I don’t regret this purchase at all. I’m pretty neutral when it comes to the RingConn fitness tracking device. A lot of what I don’t like are probably issues one would run into with any ring style tracker. First impressions: The RingConn ring was packaged very nicely. The charging case feels really solid and the ring stays secure on the charging post. The ring itself is very lightweight and I’m fine with that. I feel like a solid metal ring large enough to accommodate the sensors would be a little too heavy for my taste. Overall, the fit is true to the sizing kit (definitely recommend buying this to test your size) and it’s very comfortable to wear casually and during exercise. Sync features: the setup process was super quick and easy. The ring syncs with the app whenever the app is opened and it does so fairly quick. The app also syncs with my other health apps very easily. Tracking: the tracking is where I’m a little less impressed and I think the majority of what I’m not content with will be common across ring style trackers. The ring seems to track lower on all metrics compared to my Apple Watch. It also tracks distances that are typically 0.25 mile less than my treadmill readouts. I’m a casual runner and don’t use any advanced methods to track my distance and other metrics so I’m not sure which is accurate. Just something to be aware of. That aside, I do like the sleep tracking feature. My Apple Watch battery barely lasts a day so using it to monitor my sleep is not feasible. This ring has a battery life of ~12 days and is very comfortable to wear overnight, so I do appreciate the sleep monitoring. I typically avoid wearing this during the shower or other instances where it would be exposed to a lot of water so I’m not sure how the water resistance is. I can say that sweat during workouts haven’t seemed to effect the functionality. App: the app is really nice. The verbiage is kind of odd, so you can tell it’s been translated to English but it’s still easy to understand. It integrates with my other health apps very easily so that’s a huge plus. And most importantly, there is NO subscription fee that is required to have access to the full functionality of the app. Overall, I’d say if you’re interested in this style fitness tracker, then this is worth checking out. I’m glad I bought this instead of a the much more expensive alternative.

Expensive toy
I purchased the ring sizer first and I ordered a size larger based on reviews. The ring is still a little tight even sizing up. I lost the ring within 24hrs of getting it and was able to find it in the yard with the GPS, find my ring feature. The sleep tracking is ok, it’s not super accurate. And the step count is always 1000 steps off from my Apple Watch (usually more steps than my watch). It does not integrate with Apple at all. I like there is no monthly fee. There are a lot of neat features to the ring, but not sure how accurate they are. I have had this ring several months and I have scratched the finish on the inside of my finger but the otter side is fine and purchased the black matte color. I am concerned about long term durability as I have had reports of battery issues and short battery longevity. As for now, the battery last about a week and I like the portability of the charger case. If I had the opportunity to purchase this ring or the Oura ring, I would probably choose Oura due to reports of it being more accurate and better sleep technology and ability to integrate with Apple health. Other than that, they have the same features.

6 Months In and I Still Love It!
I love it!! I’ve had it for 6 months now and it’s the perfect addition. I don’t ever have to worry about it. I wear it on the go in New York City, to the gym, yoga class, the steam room, even bowling and no issues. Still looks and functions like new. If you’re questioning it just get it. See the pictures for how it looks after 6 months - barely a scratch At first I did find it a little annoying since I never wear rings but now some days I forget it’s even there - crazy how quickly the brain adapts. The on the go charger has been the best part. In the 6 months I still haven’t needed to charge the case so seems like it’s even better than advertised. Now for the sensors - I used to have a fitbit and honestly find this ring way more accurate. The sleep data is so specific and I love it! It’s part of my morning routine now to look through all the stats on the subway to work. The vital signs are also pretty accurate. When I go to the doctor it almost exactly aligns with the measurements they take. I will say though that the tracking for the type of exercise (running vs biking etc) is lacking. I don’t personally track exercise past steps but if you’re looking for a detailed workout analysis this probably won’t be what you want. They do push out new app updates and ring updates every couple months (at least 3 since I got it) so I’m sure that feature is coming. and finally - the app. It is definitely more bare bones than Oura but I only care about the metrics and no monthly fee. It totally gets the job done and you can add home screen widgets to track steps, stress level, daily scores, etc. I do use that as a quick glance to see how active I’ve been throughout the day. There are a ton of features I don’t even use so definitely something for everybody. Overall - I would 100% buy it again and am trying to convince my parents that they need one too!

RingConn is Great!!!
I have both the RingConn and the Ultrahuman Ring Air simply because a monthly subscription is not justifiable based on the price and due to the fact Oura already corners 80% of the market on wearable tech rings. Both the RingConn and the Ultrahuman Ring Air are excellent products but the Ultrahuman battery life lasts about two days while the RingConn easily lasts about a week or more between charges. Ultrahuman Ring Air has a more polished app and provides better explanations about the readings and gives good advice to improve your metrics, however it is currently not available in the US due to pending litigation brought by Oura who clearly wants to corner the market. Go with RingConn if you hate subscriptions. You won’t be disappointed!

Good Information / No Subscription Required
The RingConn Gen 2 does what it’s supposed to do. It provides basic medical stats, and does so without a monthly subscription fee like the more well known health ring. It is also very easy to link and set up. The app is very intuitive and easy to navigate. I selected RingConn primarily because it provides data on your sleep, including sleep apnea statistics, which the other rings don’t. The ring is comfortable to wear and is much lighter than I expected. You barely know it’s on. It’s also not as wide as its competitor. I recommend ordering the ring sizer kit first. The sizing is not the same as a traditional ring. Also, the silver version is very high gloss, like chrome. I originallky ordered the silver ring, but then did a return and got the black one instead. The black has a flat or satin finish. I like that much better, but it’s all about what appeals to you personally. I am very happy with the RingConn Gen 2, the info it provides, how quickly it charges, and that you get your data without having to pay a subscription fee or have your personal information uploaded to the web.
