MV-90 Magnetic Dryer Vent Coupling

Product worked perfectly! Replaced an existing 90 degree wall hugging elbow that wasn't secured to cinder block wall behind it. Was able to secure this using tapcom screws for maximum secure fit. The connection between dryer and exhaust pipe is a tight and secure one. Now movement of dryer will be easier whenever needed. Highly recommend spending the extra $$ and buy the brand that made this type of connection possible. Reward innovation!

The creator of this deserves an award. This connector ranks right up there with the invention of the wheel. Should be the defacto standard for how all dryers are installed. Good clean tight frustration-free connection with little effort. The ease of disconnect/reconnect actually encourages one to clean dryer vents more often rather than fear the hassle of getting the vent reconnected. Our front-load washer and dryer are inserted into custom-build cabinets that are elevated off the floor with basket storage underneath them. There's only about 3/4" clearance on all sides of each appliance and no way to get a hand back there let alone maneuver hoses or ducts. It's a very clean look and very ergonomic to load/unload them but hooking them up was a real PITA. So when the mister/steamer on the dryer broke and required me to pull out the dryer, I knew it was going to be a bear getting the dryer vent pushed back into the cubby and impossible to prevent having a bunch of turns in the flexible duct - which I know leads to reduced airflow, promotes lint build-up, and could result in larger problems. The 90-degree MagVent was a perfect solution for such a tight and blind connection situation, was very easy to install, and allowed me to use primarily rigid vent which I knew would deliver higher performance and promote a much safer pathway. Hearing the sound of the magnetic attachment as I pushed the dryer into it's hole was very reassuring that I made the right choice. A quick inspection with a snake cam verified that all was good. This is the only way I will install dryers going forward.

If you have a small laundry room as we do, you'll definitely want this revolutionary gizmo! Our traditional hose and clamp hookup was a pain to connect every time we needed to clean or do any maintenance on our dryer. With this magnetic connection no more body contortions to reconnect the hose! You just slide the dryer against the wall and the magnet pulls the dryer hose solidly to the vent line! Zero leakage and a nice clean look. Installation was easy and parts are high quality. Highly recommend!

This is a great product / solution to dryer exhaust issues. The mounting bracket and 90 degree turn was exactly what I was in need of, it made the retrofit a major improvement over what we had. This is also a quality heavy duty item , worth the price , and made in the U.S.!

Very easy to install. This connection removed a major kink at the base of my dryer that prevented dryer from properly functioning. The magnetic connection is strong but provides quick access to the vent hose when it comes time to vacuum that out. I wish I had made this fix years ago. My 18 yr old Maytag is now drying like a champ, saving both time and money on laundry days!!

Works as advertised, easy to install. The vent in my old house comes up from the floor, so I had to use the 90 configuration. Once you install and push the dryer back, it does join by magnets on its own, but I had to adjust the alignment by hand. One minor drawback is the tube and the magnet that is attached to the dryer is one piece, so if the tube breaks, you can’t replace only the tube, you have to buy the whole thing from the manufacturer. Good news is they are in TN, and I actually talked to a live person when I called. Also, there’s a 1 year warranty, so if it breaks in that time, it’s a free replacement.

This thing is great. Solved multiple problems in one shot. I can easily move dryer out to clean etc, and it seals so tightly that our laundry room is noticeably less dusty (the rigid duct would evidently seems dusty air around the connection points. NO LONGER!

Let me start off by saying, the customer service for this product is "top notch". Although my install might appear to be pretty basic/simple for most, my skill level in this area is pretty basic at best. With that said, I reached out to MagVent after buying the wrong product on Amazon. They provided me with a custom (lowered) "base piece" to help out with my installation. On top of this and many back and forth emails to help me with my install I was pleased to a successfully install the final product. Although it still sits a little high to the point that I can't just have it automatically connect when i push my washer back (I use a claw grabber to lift it slightly) it does "clasp" very well and provides a very clean/direct connection. I have noticed a difference/improvement instantly, the airflow leading to outside is way stronger than previous. I am very impressed with this product and really hope it holds up over time.

Excellent produit. Robuste et bien construit. Installation facile. Capacité de l’aimant excellent (tant lors du retrait de la sécheuse que lors du raccordement à l'évent). Requiert un minimum de 5pouces et demie à l’arrière de la sécheuse, ce qui est peu. Mis à part le 12 pouce de boyau flexible, tout est en métal. Un peu cher, mais vaut l’investissement. Je suis très satisfait de cet achat.

Just installed the MV90 and it was everything that I expected it to be. Super high quality, very strong magnet. Couldn’t imagine any other better setup for my application. It also came with a hose clamp for the dryer side hose which wasn’t listed but is necessary to have.

Only wish that I had invented it , makes drying faster , saves having all the flex pipe behind the dryer , we'll made , worth the money
