I don’t know too much about matcha, however I do know what not so great matcha is like. This is not that. The color is a very nice green, it smells very nice and mild. I only drink matcha as a latte with some oatmilk and sugar free vanilla syrup so I can’t tell you all the nuances of the flavor notes. It’s a very pleasant taste. Not overly grassy or anything, dare I’d say a nice balanced flavor. It’s not super strong. I do 1tsp matcha to 8oz milk, 1oz syrup. (I know, this isn’t the ideal way to make matcha, but I like it this way) and I give it a mix with a mixer wand and bam that’s my matcha! For the price, you can’t go wrong! I recommend if your new to matcha/don’t want to spend too much on it

This matcha is good, i would say it’s mild. I can taste the matcha flavor but if you put too much milk it’s not as a strong taste. It was not bitter at all, and it was smooth. I had no problem other than i was hoping it was more medium bodied. The color is great. I heard people saying that the powder smells weird but it doesn’t. If you plan on buying it don’t put too much milk and i use 2 tsp of powder every time. I used like 1/2 cup of milk after i whisk my matcha and it tasted good. I would say it’s definitely good for beginners and people who prefer mild matcha but can still taste the matcha flavor.

havent found or tried too many high quality matcha powders, but for 18 this one was pretty good- the color was ok green, foamed pretty well, and had a stronger taste than some other matcha powders ive had (like jade leaf artisinal barista blend) with milk in a latte. for the price, the size and the quality i think are quite good

Great matcha especially for price! While its admittedly not the best matcha I've had, I think its probably going to be hard to find one this good at this price point anywhere else. I love making matcha at home but I had a hard time justifying having it daily because of how expensive matcha has gotten but this has resolved that issue and has become my daily matcha! Overall it had a nice subtle sweetness to it. Its not too astringent either which makes it a great matcha to have by itself as a latte or an usucha. Its also strong enough though that if you want to mix any sweetness or other flavors like various jams (which is my go to) you can definitely still taste the matcha. Def recommend trying this one!

Very good flavor and an affordable price point for my daily lattes! Also I love the little container. It keeps it sealed up and super fresh.

I prepared this matcha using 60 ml of water and whisked it with a bamboo chasen. The powder mixed fairly well and produced some foam, but the color is more of a dull olive green rather than the bright, vibrant green you typically see with higher-quality matcha. The flavor is mild with very little umami. It has a slight astringency on the finish, but the bitterness is not too strong. One positive is that it does not have an overly grassy or vegetal taste, which some matcha can have. Overall, the flavor feels lighter and less rich compared to premium ceremonial matcha. Because of that, it may work better in matcha lattes, smoothies, or mixed drinks rather than drinking it straight. Overall, this matcha is okay for casual use or mixing into drinks, but it may feel a bit lacking if you’re used to richer, more vibrant ceremonial matcha.

Matcha is super hard for me to find and Amazon has an amazing selection. This was the first real “ceremonial” matcha I purchased and it has been my favorite. It smells amazing & comes fresh in a silver container. It’s the perfect size to make 10+ drinks and quality is amazing. It helps so much with my headache!

Based in the color it doesn’t look a good matcha. Taste it’s ok.
