Totally recommend watching the My Hero Academia anime and collecting all the manga. 😗 Review: This Purchase was Plus Ultra - People tend to write about the book here, but desertcart is about purchases, and I think this was a well spent purchase. It was in mint/perfect condition when it arrived, and took barely any time to arrive at all! And for those of you who talk about the story instead of the actual purchase, the art and storyline is good, too! So, if you want to buy this book at a cheap price, choose this dude.

Calm before the storm
The anime continues October 2019 so I decided to purchase volumes 14 - 18 because of my impatience. This is a spoiler free review. Midoriya, Asui, Uraraka and Kirishima are patrolling the streets with U.A.'s "Big Three" giving us plenty of opportunity to get to know their quirks and personalities even more. These interactions all prove to be very genuine and good for character building. Kirishima is faced with a certain challenge that will probably make a lot of his fans cheer even harder and for people who weren't really sure about him (me) start paying attention to him. This challenge will also reveal a major problem that could affect the super hero society as we know it. We also learn of a decision All Might took before the series started regarding who would inherit "One for All" and more information about Overhaul, the newest villain after "The League of Villains". Overhaul seems smart, patient and ruthless. Qualities that make for an interesting villain. The ending of the volume leaves us with a cliffhanger that leaves you itching for more and makes you wonder what our heroes might encounter next. A solid volume overall!

PLUS ULTRA!
Absolutely love My Hero Academia. I love the art style and adore the characters. Villians and Heros alike are interesting and likeable. Every character has differing personalities, albeit some are quite 'quirky' ;) The 15th installment of MHA left me eager for the next issue! Added that to my shelf immediately. Definitely a great buy and looks great on my manga shelf. Go beyond, plus ultra!

Great foundation work laid for Raid Arc
I'm up to date on the manga and anime but reading this set of chapters was a joy. Art work is beautiful. You know it's good art when you can still see the basic details of a character even when they are drawn in a perspective background. On to what makes me love any manga/anime CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. Kirishima lovers--this volume is for you (and the one following as well). His quirk isn't all that special hence the running gag with Tetsu Tetsu but its all how you use like how Mirio trained his body and quirk to the point he's OP. We get to Kirishima embrace what he is and accept what he is not. This volume is a great foundation for the raid arc: new characters, some fleshing out of main characters and more world building.
