Works just fine.
I bought this in hopes that it would fix the bad 12v 100Ah LiFePO4 battery that I bought. It solved the problem. I had charged up the near dead cells with a power supply. This BMS brought all the cells up to there fully charged point and balanced the entire battery. The only thing, if I had known 100 % that this was the fix I would have bought the version with the remote readout. Good product, it is working fine, I been checking it every few days since I installed it. Now it's time to seal up the battery pack. Recommended!! Good buy.

not bad, not bad at all
i got 4 of these to maintain 4 banks of 320ah lifepo cells, 16 total, 4 per pack. it was very aggrivating trying to install these with little to no documentation, yea, there's videos but they dont really go into much detail. to all buyers, know this, "THEY WILL NOT ACTIVATE UNTIL YOU PUT A CHARGE TO THEM. this does not matter if your cells are pre-charged for storage or not. once there is a push to them through the bms, they will come alive. however, without putting a charge to the bms/battery bank, they will NEVER come online, and they will NEVER be seen by the APP. it was very aggrivating that i couldnt check the bank before connecting it to my system. i had to build the bank, and hope for the best then connect it up and attempt a charge.. before i could even see the bms.. which sucks from an engineering standpoint. also keep in mind, these bms do get hot, they do not have a built in cooling fan..something to consider.. they maybe only 100 amp, but they do get hot when they are pushed to 80-90 amps.. otherwise, once they are up and running, they do pretty good. i've had them on a 43 foot sailboat behind a victron 3k-watt inverter, and they doing great.. just wish they would make it do MPPT modbus over tcp.. its a basic protocol, so i dont know why they dont do it. it would also help if the wireless module wasn't just bluetooth. so i'm building a esp32 gateway to convert ra485 to mppt modbus so that i can read them with my victron cerebro gx. will buy them again if i ever build another cell bank..

BMS works, balance sucks, app is terrible.
I will be returning this BMS. My no-name from Alibaba is far easier to use and configure and the app is much better. Also this BMS doesn't have a separate charge input, so when the unit is 'full' and disconnects the battery, anything connected may be exposed to full charger voltage (solar, battery charger, whatever). The balancing function seems subpar and the app is so confusing/unclear as to what's actually going on that I sought out another unit to try on this pack (110Ahr LiFePO4). The BMS needs to be woken up via a button press on the bluetooth/WiFi module if it has sat for too many hours...which makes me feel like it just tagged on there and not properly integrated. My no-name BMS systems have no such need for a wake intervention (and don't have standby battery draw that is significant). If I had got this for free, I'd probably find a use for it somewhere but having paid money for it, I'll send it back. Also note that the connector for an external UART/RS485 screen is the smaller version and won't connect to the screen's native connector if you have a straight-across cable. I was going to search one out but honestly the 'fuel gauge' in the app is useless anyway.

Good customer support but tricky bms for beginners
Customer support is helpful and responsive. The bms didn’t work for my needs, but if you’re a more advanced user it may be the right fit. I was looking for something more plug and play since it was my first full battery build. — original post — At first, the bms seemed good and the features all worked, but over a couple months they stopped working. The app won’t connect anymore and the over discharge doesn’t protect. I was able to get my 12v battery down to 6v before the discharge device cut off.

Absolute trash. Do not buy. Bought 4. 2 are now bad after 35 days and 1 connector has failed on a third one.
