Does what it's supposed to
Does what it's designed to do. Only 4 stars rather than 5 as the surface area is a little smaller than I had hoped, but it does what I need it to.

My very own heat-ray!
In terms of magnification, this thing has got some power. It is huge, so naturally the magnification is huge also, and very clear. It's got a good weight to it and feels sturdy and well-made, while the handle has a comfortable grip. Now here's the part of the review I actually WANTED to write: this thing is amazing for setting fire to stuff using focused sunlight. If you're something of a pyromaniac like myself, this magnifying glass is one of the best for setting fire to piles of leaves, paper, etc.. You could cook a steak with this beast. Obviously, be careful if you're using it for that. I strongly discourage playing with fire (although if you are going to, this is the way to do it).

solid well made but not very useful
well made quite heavy and a real magnifying glass (not magnifying plastic....) but x2 is pretty much pointless for really small text should have been 2.5 and the x10 spot lens (although it states 11.5x) on packaging...... is too small to be really useful to sum up too big main lens for just a mere x2 and too small for the x10 /11.5 to see much in view also the handle is a bit spongy and a strange addition it has Carlson logo badge on one side and china logo badge on the other side........;)

Excellent and useful product
This magnifier was exactly what I was looking for. The quality is great and it's light to hold. The glass is not opaque at all and the size of the reading area is perfect. I would totally buy it again if needed since I think that the price is fair. The product arrived one day earlier so the shipping service was excellent. The only thing that I would improve is the metal legs for standing-out. I find it hard to get the legs off and I think that a person with loss in fine motor or manual dexterity could have problems with this. Very good product.

Impugnatura comoda, ottima nitidezza, utile anche il piccolo 10x per vedere particolari di dimensioni estremamente ridotte. Sicuramente consigliata.
