Best purchase I ever made on Amazon
What an incredibly easy Scanner to use, I bought it for two reasons, 1- to replace an outdated scanner i had and 2- to help with my ABS unit and it did not disappoint. Best purchase I ever made and very Affordable!

Mostly very impressed! Saved me mucho $$ and a 60 mile drive to a rip-off dealer.
I started with a scanner of about half the cost. It read my ABS codes fine and identified both rear wheel speed sensors as the cause of my ABS alarm light. The Hyundai dealer diagnosed only one bad. They charged $238 and did not supply the diagnosis report, so I didn't know which wheel and they would not return calls. They offered to replace it for $792. I bought two sensors on Amazon for under $20/pair and a 15 year old replaced them. (The Hyundai dealer wanted $198 for just the one part.) But I still had poor braking. I had replaced the brake master cylinder and got some air in the lines, but normal brake bleeding did not give me good braking due to air trapped in the ABS & ESC mechanisms. The service manual said that a scanner with ABS auto-bleed functions was required. This scanner instructed all mechanism valves open and then ran the ABS pump. Now i have good braking! I still need to manually bleed the lines of what the scanner got out, but this has saved me a bundle. However, it was incapable of resetting my Tacoma's maintenance light, so i need to do that myself. It also correctly identified bad squib wiring on the driver door air bag of my Tacoma, which a mid range Foxwell had also identified. I would disable the air bags if i could- who wants to be surrounded by explosives? I know multiple instances of them detonating without an accident. I tried pulling the fuse on the Hyundai ABS and got good braking back, but lost my speedometer, and the steering was squirrely. You can generally stop faster without ABS interference, but steering does not work on ice with locked front brakes, so you have to pump them yourself like in the old days before AI 'protected' you. This scanner was noticeably easier to use and had the auto-bleed function that the half priced Autel did not. Recommended!

Won't open ABS valves
Won't open ABS valves on my 02 VW GOLF TDI. Just runs the pump like cheaper options like OBDeleven. Will have to get RossTech for 2 bills. Had to put in VIN manually every time I turn it on.

OK my third attempt at getting a budget reader that is of any use. Trying to bleed my Nissan Pathfinder ABS module so needed to be able to activate it. The ECU did not have an auto bleed function. Managed to find out how to activate the ABS pump from the reader - some trial and error, (bi-directional) and has a successful outcome. Also diagnosed my daughters lamda sensor upstream of the cat and car running much better with no engine warning light on.

Owning an OBD2 scanner, especially one as capable as the AD610 Pro, is an interesting experience. It truly is very easy to use and comes loaded with functions. It's also compatible with most car models. It certainly can identify the exact issue with a car, which makes it feel like a neat gadget to have for anyone interested in their vehicle's inner workings. However, I have to admit, I cannot say that having an OBD scanner is truly essential for me. Yes, it excels at running diagnostics and pinpointing a problem, but diagnosing the issue is one thing, and actually fixing it is another entirely. A few weeks ago, my check engine light came on. I was genuinely excited to use the AD610 Pro to find out what was going on. And sure enough, it did its job perfectly, identifying a "faulty sensor" somewhere in the system. This is where the story takes a turn. Despite knowing the exact fault code, I still ended up taking my car to the mechanic. He quickly identified it as a sensor related to the fuel tank's environmental function, checked it, cleared the code, and assured me it was not a critical issue. I paid him $75 and left. The point of this experience is that even though the scanner was able to find the precise fault, I still needed professional help to interpret the severity and confirm the solution. My experience suggests that while the AD610 Pro is an excellent tool, its full value is truly unlocked if you are already familiar with car mechanics and comfortable performing repairs yourself. For someone like me, who is not yet deeply skilled in automotive repair, it serves more as an advanced informational tool than a complete problem solving solution. It is fantastic for curiosity and initial diagnosis, but be prepared that the journey might still end at the mechanic's shop if you are not prepared to tackle the fix yourself. It is a powerful device, but its effectiveness for an individual user depends heavily on their own mechanical expertise.

This diagnostic tool is a serious piece of equipment that brings professional-level capabilities right to your garage. It goes far beyond a simple code reader, offering a deep dive into your car's critical safety systems with ABS and SRS diagnosis. The ABS auto bleeding and bi-directional control are features you usually only see in expensive professional tools, allowing you to perform advanced tests and ensure your braking system is working perfectly. It's a powerful and precise device that gives you full confidence in your car's safety. Despite its advanced functions, this tool is incredibly easy to use. The AutoVIN technology eliminates the need for manual input, so you can connect in seconds and get right to work without any complicated account setups or subscriptions. You get free lifetime software updates, which ensures the tool will stay up-to-date with new car models and technologies for years to come. With its full OBD2 functions and compatibility with over 100 car brands, this is a versatile and reliable device that simplifies the diagnostic process.

Scanner does excellent job in scanning vehicle and showing error codes if they exist. I like the fact that you are able to scan multiple vehicles, without having to pay a yearly subscription to access information. Very affordable, easy to follow prompts and display bright and good resolution Allows you to put ve vehicles into service mode to work on rear brakes. Overall good scanner.

As a fleet manager, I have visibility on most of the day-to-day issues and fault codes of the vehicles on the road. We do also have a couple of HD & diesel trucks, so I was able to put the ANCEL V6HD through it's paces on a Silverado 3500HD and Ford F250 SuperDuty. I was impressed with the make-specific functions available through the navigation menu, including a lot of EGR related functions (like purging the system), and activating the fuel pump. This little tool can do what I've paid diesel mechanics hundreds of dollars to do, and I feel like I've just barely scratched the surface. The interface is Android based, although it starts up relatively quickly and without a hitch. There is also a generic OBD function which will allow usage on any regular vehicle, albeit with limited functions. The case is a tight fit for all the adapters which come with it, but they're there. I do also like that they include a barebones OBD connector which you can DIY / pinout yourself in order to connect to more specialized machinery. There is a lot that can be done with this tool if you know what you're doing. The construction of the tablet itself is quite rugged and impressive. It has a proper shell overtop of the tablet complete with hand grippers. I would not worry about accidentally dropping this on the ground. The tablet also has a flashlight function, which can be very useful for locating ports pins and plugs. This tool is impressive for what it is, but to keep in mind the makes listed in the item description - There is no Peterbilt-specific subsection, but this was to be expected. For the price it puts some modern "brand name" tools to shame.
