Great chair!
I have cats, so I wanted a nice leather looking microfiber desk chair since they dont tear that material up. I was surprised how hard those are to find! First, assembly is fairly straight forward. If I had any complaint, screwing the wood covers on probably takes an actual screwdriver- the holes arent piloted so you'll need some pressure to get the screw to bite. Once assembled, its a decent size chair. I had a La-Z-boy from staples before, so for comparison, it's about as deep, slightly narrower, and about as tall. The recline portion goes just far enough back that you feel like you may tip over, so you'll probably need to tune tension there. I haven't fallen over yet, but it reclines and it reclines hard lol. Color is nice - I like it better in person I think than photos. Smell is good but interesting - its whatever they put on it for the texture. If I had any complaints, that's a minor one: there was a very small blemish on the back where a white residue from the fabric finish is stuck on. It took a lot of scrubbing and its mostly gone now, though. Other than that, I did notice the buttons arent tufted tight. This means when you sit and decompress the base, some of them are loose enough to snag. Ill probably eventually have some pop off and have to resew them. No issues with the wings for me - i just screwed the brackets tight and pulled the fabric a bit to make the seam nice. Overall comfortable. A good size- thought it may struggle to slide under small desks. Looks great. Would buy again.

Nice sturdy office chair for the price point
Great chair for the price point. The faux leather doesn't look faux at all to the casual glance. The best part is how firm the padding is -- supports my hips and back infinitely better than the gaming chair I had used for a year as my office chair. The width is also very nice as it places the arm rests at a very comfortable position, whereas my former chair was just enough more narrow that the arm rests didn't sit where my elbows/forearms naturally rested. I am 5'8.5" and 165lbs for reference. I saw other reviewers stating that the directions/assembly could be a little confusing -- I don't completely disagree, but as I worked through the process I realized the error was mine for not reading the brief directions very very closely. For example, connecting the back and upper portion involves sliding two steel brackets into each other at each side. The directions don't expressly warn that there is a slight narrowing to the brackets so that placing it upside down is possible, but careful inspection of the drawing clearly shows the numbers of each end with one end narrower than the other. So the correct information is all there, but not in narrative/prose. Once I figured that out and started following the drawings rather than written directions it was easy.

A Gaming Chair For The Professional On a Budget
Comfy, quite loud and squeaky, like sitting in a giant fart, but it doesn’t smell. The tilt is high quality, it feels very natural to lean back. The winged inside corners slide into place with metal brackets that were rather hard to remove when assembling, but manageable once I figured out what needed to be done. The chair is wide but short in my opinion, luckily I’m short so it doesn’t really matter but to someone who’s quite tall I don’t think the chair would be right, unless you like feeling like you’re sitting at a child’s desk. The legs are also real wood coverings, over a metal chassis that you screw in, super easy with a drill or a screw gun. It looks nice enough, and people think it’s nicer than it is when they see it. I think 200 dollars is an appropriate price for this chair. I do wish the chair was quieter in terms of when you sit in it, adjust yourself, and get up… but other than that it’s a pretty solid buy. I just wish I could’ve gotten it in a burgundy, but the black will do. Also, you may not sit as extreme as I do, but I think it gives you the best idea of what it’s like.

A firm comfortable chair that's joy to occupy
Some friends call this my command chair, but that's not important. The chair arrived in robust packaging, and its assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. I find the chair comfortable, firm and its roller casters and swivel are just wonderful. Having an adjustable seat height lets me set the height for my elevating desk/coffee table. See photo. Overall, a happy purchaser.
