This audio interface deserve the praise, but very few bloggers & influencer promote this awesome AI. And i guess that’s because SSL doesn’t think they need to promote this beast, so they don’t sponsor social media influencers for this product. Coz anyone who once buy it, will become fan of it instantly. I had steinberg ur22 mkii, one of my friend have focusrite 2i2 4th gen, other has audient id14.. I give it a test run on vocal with all other interface, to check which is the best among these. Focusrite 2i2 (with or without air) doesn’t stand a chance against it. Maybe people who bought them, will praise their quality. But that’s only because they haven’t use SSL yet. Note: i only talked about focusrite as it was best among the rest of the audio interface & were closest to SSL in terms of vocal recording. My steinberg was old, so it obviously doesn’t have such good preams, and audient id14 sound was clear but even below focusrite 2i2 4th gen, when it comes to vocal warmth & crispiness. Rest, i’m looking for someone with MOTU M2, so that i could compare it with that, and found which one is the ultimate buy under 30000. I wish i could buy this SSL2, when it was around 23000/- but still, 28000 is also a value for money prurchase, for this kind of interface.

Vengo de una M-Audio Air y el cambio es, sencillamente, abismal. La potencia de salida es notablemente superior; mis KRK Rokit 5 y mis audífonos ahora suenan con mucho más cuerpo y volumen. El modo Legacy 4K es la verdadera joya de esta interfaz: al usarla con mi Shure PGA27, las voces adquieren un brillo y una presencia excepcionales, aportando un color muy rico y profesional a la grabación desde la fuente. Una inversión que vale totalmente la pena. En cuanto al vendedor, tuve una buena experiencia, respondió a todas mis dudas y muy amable.

This is a solid piece, ease of use, great size, worked out the box, mic and headphones sound great.
