Great PSU. Loads of power for my high end system. Very quiet.

Great PSU from ASUS. My last ASUS PSU failed after 16 months, so hoping this one doesn't die out on me that quickly. Overall for the cost you're getting 80+ Platinum and 1000W. There's no nonsense RGB in it, it's just utilitarian. Can't complain unless it bites the dust like the other one - which was a Gold Aura Edition PSU. This one also looks like it is S tier on the PSU Tier List so that's always handy, but so was my previous one that died.

Bought this PSU for my new AMD 9070 XT Graphics card as my old one would not have sufficient power delivery. So far it powers my 9800x3D and 9070 XT perfectly fine with no issues, is relatively quiet and the cables are aesthetically nice connected to the motherboard.

All the cables are individually braded which is nice, yet to use it, but it should be fine for most 50 series cards once they drop.

Reviewing for the ASUS Rate Your Gear (Purchase price £240 w.£25 cashback = £215 effective) I went with ASUS because I'm paranoid about my 5080 melting, so this PSU fits my list of requirements: ATX3.1 for future proofing, Platinum efficiency to save electricity bills, 12VHPWR with voltage monitoring (hopefully) prevents GPU melting, silent operation when gaming at 500W, and braided cables for a clean look. Unfortunately, unlike other ROG products I bought, this one doesn't give me the sense of unboxing a premium product. What immediately turned me off was the product image made be believe the blue/purple bits are RGB or at least metallic/holographic, but no, it's all silver, and you are supposed to put stickers on it. The included cables: They are not braided, but rubber coated with the texture mimicking individually sleeved cables. They leave oil residue on your hand. Also, only the 12VHPWR cable comes with cable comb on it, so you better also buy a pack of cable combs for your Mobo and CPU cables if you decide to purchase this PSU. BTW, the 3 included cable management ties also had the hole punch in the wrong side! I'm sure the components inside make this a great PSU, but the overall product presentation feels rushed. It's a 'meh' product for slightly above market price, more suited for the TUF line than Strix. If you are not an enthusiast like me who overspends on peripherals then there are plenty of options for £150 that will serve you just as well.
