I bought this to feed my azalea bushes. I just planted them this year and I didn’t expect them to have bloom. Once I fed them this food the leaves turned a deep green, and I had about four or five blossoms on each plant. This is very easy product to use. It increased the growth of my azalea bushes and it gave me good quality flowers.

This plant food is amazing! My honest review comes from my astonishment at how well my hydrangea bushes are doing this year compared to previous years. The bush itself has doubled in size, and the blooms are already budding out with beautiful color. The instructions on the bag are easy to read and understand, so feeding your plants will be a breeze.

The product, as near as I can tell, works well. The bag it comes in is terrible. It uses a Velcro kind of closure but it doesn’t work to close the bag at all.

I’ve been using this fertilizer on a wide range of acid-loving plants in containers—including Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Mountain Laurels, Blueberries, and even some more unusual acid-loving pachycaul trees—and it’s performed consistently well. What I really value is its high concentration of macronutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium), which makes it easy to customize my feeding schedule. I typically dilute to about 100 ppm nitrogen (roughly 1/3 teaspoon per gallon of water) and apply with every watering during the active growing season (spring through fall). With this routine, my plants show strong growth, healthy foliage, and reliable blooms/fruit set. Because it’s a synthetic fertilizer, the nutrients become available to my potted plants right away, which is essential in container culture where leaching and nutrient depletion happen quickly. I prefer to reserve organic fertilizers for in-ground plantings (added benefit is that organics help improve soil health) and use them sparingly there, but for pots, this formula is both efficient and dependable. Overall, it offers excellent value, is easy to measure and apply, and delivers exactly what acid-loving plants need to thrive.
