Sony SU-WL450 Wall-Mount Bracket, Compatible with 32" to 85" BRAVIA LCD TVs

This wall bracket does the job very simply, but well. It is simple to fit to the wall, but the instructions can be a bit confusing. As is the amount of bits that are in the left box that you don't need. I went for the flush mounting option in the instructions and my 55" TV looks great on the wall. The TV is also simple to remove from the bracket. Although it is a two person job. As the TV was fitted close to the wall, I did have to also get a flat Ethernet cable and a right angled toslink adapter, as there isn't much room behind for wires. But that is the trade off you need to make in order to get it as close to the wall as possible. I also routed all the cables between the connected bumpers (the two bits you attach so the TV rests flat against the wall) and through some simple white trunnking so that none of the wires were visible. The item is a bit expensive when compared to others. But I would certain recommend it.

Excellent quality and design; we mounted a Sony KD-55A1. Locks in to place with the pulley type fixings, screwed in to the back of the TV which you then lower in to the engineered grooves of the wall plate. Lots of fittings so ensure you keep them together until you have decided which mounting method you prefer. Have both the TV manual and the mount manual to hand and take some time to read both. Choice of either slim fit (which we used) or a wider fit that in my opinion, protrudes too much. We fitted two wall plates Aerials, Satellites and Cables single brush Single Gang Cable Entry/ Exit Brush Faceplate for Wall Outlet to feed the cables through the wall thus, no hideous wires. Once the mounting bracket was fitted (I used 6 x blue Gripit plasterboard fixings which is probably overkill but its not going anywhere!), it took three of us to mount it, two holding it in position and one to fit the power, HDMI, aerial and satellite cables. We then fed the excess cabling carefully back in to the wall plate and lifted the TV, a couple of inches in to place - perfect fit (phew!!). Very secure and thanks to those on here who confirmed 8mm holes.

I bought this to wall-mount my new Sony 55" X85 4K TV - The back of the TV isn't completely flat, so I bought the genuine Sony mount on the basis it would work. I read the Amazon reviews, although a few have said it isn't a straightforward installation, I took the plunge. The "problem" is that this is a universal mount, designed to work with various Sony Models of LCD/LED Displays. As well as the main Bracket part, there are about 40 bolts/washers/bits - These do make the kit look bewildering when you first open it. I ended up using 9 of the 40 pieces in the kit - The key is to Download the correct install guide for the TV you have. There were 2 guides in the box, neither of these were applicable to my TV - If you go to the Sony website, find the model you have, click on support, there will be a "Wall Mount Guide" available to download as a PDF which give model-specific instructions for this bracket. These guides also give you precise dimensions of where to bolt the bracket on the wall in relation to where you want the TV to sit, they also give options for low profile or standard mounting - Please note that Slim-mounting does (in the case of my TV anyway) restrict access to some of the ports on the back - This is more a criticism of the TV though rather than the bracket. Unlike other mounts I've used, there is no adjustment to get the TV level - It's therefore crucial you mount the Bracket completely straight on the wall. Very pleased I bought this, once on the wall it's very sturdy, worth the money and easy enough to mount/unmount the display if you need to swap or add cables. I've given 4 stars because of having to download the additional manual and this isn't clear unless you've read the Amazon reviews.

Used to hold my Sony KD-49X8005C. I would really recommend this bracket to anyone as it it is good value for money and it is the recommended wall mount for this television and I suspect all Sony televisions. The only two down falls were the instructions and the screws supplied. I had to put up three brackets, the first bracket took me some time to understand the instructions but once I finished the second and third bracket went up quiet easily. The screws that are used to hold the bracket into the wall were not supplied, all other screws and bolts holding the bracket together were supplied. I would recommend paying the bit extra for this wall mount as I know it has been recommended by the company that makes the TV, it holds my 49 inch TV, and it's easy to detach the TV from the wall mount.

I was extremely disappointed in this product. To start with, the wall screws that you need to screw the mount into the wall are not provided and you have to purchase these yourselves, which we did, only to find that the screw heads were too thin for the wholes in the bracket meaning we then had to buy washers for the wall screws. In addition to this, the instructions are horrendous. The pictures were not very representative of what we were dealing with, and in some places, not nearly as specific as they should be. For example, the instructions do not tell you which screws to use amongst the ones they provided (Of which there were many types) are supposed to go into the TV. We simply had to guess and see if they worked. This is absolutely ludicrous. Resources online for this bracket are also barely present, with only one video of the installation that's of any use but it's all in Japanese. Pathetic instructions and not everything provided that should be. Would highly recommend trying to find a third party mount instead.

I bought the sony bracket for a 65" Bravia and it looks a very sturdy product although I haven't used it yet. I wanted the correct bracket due to the weight involved with this size TV

Neuer TV, neue Halterung.. Der "alten" haben wir nicht ganz getraut, da der neue TV (Sony KD65x8505c) doch 25 kg wiegt. In der Anleitung des Gerätes stand, man solle auf jeden Fall und unbedingt NUR die Sony SU-WL450 Wandhalterung verwenden!! Nachdem wir also eh eine neue brauchten, habe ich die Bestellt und war erst skeptisch. Vergleichbare von anderen Firmen kosten auch um die 50€ Der Fernseher hängt an dieser Halterung nur an den beiden oberen Schrauben an der Rückwand an dieser Halterung!!!?? Hält das? Sony sagt ja. Das Zusammenbauen der Halterung erscheint auf den 1. Blick etwas aufwändig bei der Fülle an Schrauben. Auch die Anleitung lßt zu wünschen übrig... Es gibt bei Youtube ein paar Viedeos, wenn man die Bezeichnug eingibt. Zwar auf Japanisch, aber mit etwas Geschick, versteht man was gemeint ist :-) Aber man muss wissen: 1. braucht man nicht alle Schrauben (es gibt dicke und dünne für die verschiedenen Gewinde) und 2. auch verschiedene Längen für die 2 verschiedenen Abstände, welche man wählen kann. Wählt man den engen Abstand zur Wand, braucht man die 2 schwarzen Winkel gar nicht erst an die Halterung schrauben! Es blieben bei uns fast alle Schrauben übrig. Die Verschraubung an den TV mit den nur 2 Distanzhülsen plus den 2 Schrauben mit den Führungsrollen machen einen sehr stabilen Eindruck. Sony wird sich schon was dabei gedacht haben ;-) Man muss dazu sagen, wir haben eine sehr gute und dicke Ziegelwand - sonst würde ich so ein wertvolles Gewicht auch nicht aufhängen. Also richtig gute Schrauben und Dübel (auch empfehlenswert: Beilagscheiben zur besseren Verteilung des Schraubenkopfes auf der Halterung) besorgt. Nicht im Baumarkt sondern im Schraubenfachgeschäft! Nochmal 5€, aber sicher ist sicher. 90er Schrauben und 10er Dübel. Also alles ausgemessen und zusammengeschraubt. Gebohrt und verschraubt. Halterung hält Bombe an der Wand (da fällt vorher das Haus zusammen bevor an den 4 Schrauben was fehlt) Der TV hält auch super an der Wandhalterung. Das System mit dem "Einfädeln" ist genial und sicher. Die Halterung (das lange weisse Lochblech) haben wir weggelassen. Sieht 1. nichts aus, wenn der TV frei an der Wand schwebt und 2. wofür? Ich wackel ja nicht jeden Tag 400x an dem Gerät.. ;-) Die Abstandshalter für die untern 2 Löcher am Gerät sind für den schmalen Abstand, den wir gewählt haben, etwas zu wenig. Die langen zu lang.. Also haben wir noch jeweils ein Stückchen flaches Holz darunter geschoben. Dies hält einfach durch den "Druck" den der TV auf die Wand ausübt. So passt alles und sieht Top aus. Wir sind zufrieden!

32インチを置いていた場所が狭く箱を自作して壁の線から10センチほど突き出すのように設置するために買い求めました。説明資料の書き方はいい加減ですが、使ってみるとテレビの取り付け、取り外しも容易で便利に使っています。ちょっと高い買い物かな、と思いますが、地震からテレビの安全を確保するには必要な道具だと思います。

La staffa sony è pienamente soddisfacente usata con TV Sony. Una volta montata è facile da usare per posizionare il televisore grazie a un sistema di "canali" nei quali vanno inserite delle guide circolari precedentemente avvitate alla tv. Offre 3 diverse distanze della tv dalla parete. La consiglio ma sarebbe utile avere istruzioni per il montaggio della piastra nei 3 diversi assetti che rendano più immediata la comprensione di come prepararla per orientarsi fra la numerosa ferramenta in dotazione. Per quanto riguarda il montaggio a parete della piastra assemblata, personalmente ho utilizzato 4 fischer da 8 allargando lievemente i buchi predisposti sulla piastra per consentire il passaggio della vite di maggior diametro. Questo anche in vista di cambio tv (sempre sony) con un dispositivo di maggior peso.

Una tv Sony no merece menos apoyo que el soporte oficial de Sony. Lo he puesto en mi Sony XR AJ8 OLED 55" y ha quedado espectacular. (Mejor que el universal que tenia en mi anterior Bravia). Fácil instalación, de tamaño perfecto y sujeción segura. Tiene 2 opciones de posicionamiento: 1)Pegadisima a la pared 2) Vienen unos accesorios para distanciarla de la pared y a su vez más cerca del sofá (sin duda opte por esta opción). Existe el mismo modelo con brazo pero me decante por éste por precio y porque me da más seguridad de aguante. Recomendado 100%
