500ml Beaker, Low Form Griffin, Borosilicate 3.3 Glass, Double Scale, Graduated, Karter Scientific 213D18 (Pack of 6)

These are very similar to a set I bought about a year ago on Amazon. They are the same capacity (50ml) but are short and wide, rather than tall and skinny. Despite the shape difference, these work just as well as my old set. Good quality glass, and the ml markings are very easy to see. There's also a lip to help when pouring out liquids. I use these for mixing DIY vape liquids, and they work perfectly for mixing 30ml batches. The markings are accurate enough for adding in the base PG and VG. I use a more precise measuring tool (usually a syringe) for measuring and adding flavors. The beaker is more than large enough to allow for good stirring without any spillage. Great set, and a good value for the price.

A few years back I moved to the weight system for all of my cooking. It's more precise, repeatable, and once you get the hang of it, quicker too. Problem is, if you also like to get all your ingredients measured and ready before you start cooking (mise en place), you need a bunch of little containers for all the smaller ingredients. These beakers are perfect. They are light, well made, and numerous. They look exactly like the product photo. I've run them through the dishwasher several times with no apparent issues, so they are sturdy enough for my needs. As cheap as they were, I don't expect them to last forever in a hectic kitchen, but having many of them is more important than having them perfect. So far they are both. As a bonus, there are volume measurements on the side (up to 50 ml), but as I said before, I do everything in weight now. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments. Cheers!

I use these to mix medications with water to administer into a G-tube. I can't speak to their accuracy because it's not a concern of mine with how I'm using them. I have dropped them a few times into a stainless steel sink and they haven't broken. I'm a bit of a klutz, and fully expected to break a few, that's why I bought 12. I have used them multiple times a day for over 2 months and still have not broken, cracked or chipped any of these! Thank you!

I bought these because I wanted nice shot glasses, but didn't want to feel snooty while taking a quick shot of whiskey. Products that are marketed as beaker shot glasses will cost $14 for 4 glasses. This product provides a cheaper product per shot glass and provides a higher quality shot glass. I'm a big fan of measuring my drinks to ensure that I know exactly how much I've had to drink. I find that it helps to keep track so that I don't overdo it and make a fool of myself or worse.... This also leaves enough room to have a topper for your shot. If you want to make a fun shot but don't want to sacrifice punch of the fun shot. I've run these through the dishwasher at least 5 times now, and they haven't even come close to breaking. The fact that you get 12 of these glasses is a big plus for the purchase. If you've ever had a small get together then you know how difficult it is for everyone to keep track of whose shot glass is whose. No Longer A Problem!

Purchased twice. The first time it was perfect but probably twice as expensive as the second time I purchased. The first set arrived whole and without any breaks, chips, or cracks. The second set (purchased a few years later) had 6 (6!) damaged beakers. 4 in various states of shatter, 2 with hairline fractures throughout, and 2 with chipped and broken rims. Other than that, the beakers are of a fairly good quality. When handled with care they last a long while. Be careful of any sort of repetitive low impact while using the beaker. I used a hand mixer that gently tapped the edge wall of the glass and it eventually shattered. Should be common sense but I was curious how much they could take. They handle heat well and are otherwise pretty sturdy. Despite the second box being less than perfect, I would still order again. If I do and continue to have problems with the products coming intact, I’ll update my review.

Tired of getting soda-lime that was advertised as "lab grade" - bought these to perfect my coffee and cocktail science. Taking copious notes and using the handy graduations on the side (which my dishwasher has not managed yet to even FADE one, much less remove the markings altogether), I've managed to fine-tune not only my espresso game but also perfect my recipes for novelty cocktails.

Fantastic value in a small package. I was looking for chemistry related items to be used for consuming beverages when I came across this item. You receive 12 individual beakers, packaged well in a box with dividers to separate the individual beakers. They all arrived intact and in perfect condition. They look incredible, and I have received numerous compliments on these. The beakers are well constructed and are the perfect size to be used as shot glasses (although a full beaker would be an extra large shot). Excellent item, as advertised. I am extremely happy with this and highly recommend it to others.

Broken beakers. Hope that replacements arrive without me having to jump through 800 hoops, including repackaging the unbroken ones and waiting for another box to arrive!
