Metal “buckle” is also very sturdy, won’t bend when fastening/unfastening. Versatile lengths of straps can be combined to make longer length and options to shorten it. Best product I’ve bought hands down. I’ve told my friends about it. We use it for biking, for paddling, use them to strap down our cooler, temporarily repair a bike seat, made a make shift dog leash in a pinch, hang clothes to dry. For the versatility and amazing quality of this product, and durability (we have put these guys to the test for over a year now) it’s worth the money!! You can adjust them to fit anywhere and add multiple together to have a longer strap. Very easy to use!!
