I bought some of these as extras from other sellers who trade in universal products (fakes basically) and they lasted for about 2 weeks before they started falling apart and I only live in a one bed apartment. I took a chance and bought the genuine products from Thane and was so surprised by the quality! They are expensive but so hardy, strong and absolutely absorbent to the max. I’d recommend buying these to anyone struggling to decide because of the high price. Obviously the cheaper the price the more often you have to replace them so I suppose in the end if I continued buying and replacing the cheap ones by the end of the year I’d have spent a small fortune and way over the cost of a single purchase of the genuine products. It’s only my personal opinion but so worth the extra few quid!

You'll notice that you go through lots of these pads, once you get started with your steamer. I go through lots, each and every time. When I'm finished, I give the white pads a good bleaching, just to get rid of any bacteria and stains.
