This diagnostic reader is a great size, easy to use ("plug and play" style basically), and comes with a convenient carrying bag for unit and cable. Automatically reads VIN, touchscreen and also has side controls. Very user friendly. Not only displays codes but tells you the meaning of the code so you do not have to search the internet for answers and allowed me to clear the code so the check engine light went off on my vehicle. I also took my vehicle to the dealership to verify that the reader was displaying correct code and it was spot on. This unit does a variety of things, not only diagnostic readings. I do want to mention that when I first received the unit and I was attempting to set it up (it connects to wifi to keep itself updated, set up your account, etc), I kept getting messages like the one I put in the pictures. It also seemed to lag horribly so I was unable to input my info correctly. I tried a few times with no success. I reached out to customer support and they were very quick in responding. Not sure why or what was happening but after I shut it down completely and restarted as directed by manufacturer's customer service, it came back up with no issues at all so this could have been my internet connection or one of the apps used on the unit. All and all, I would highly recommend!

Great purchase. Diagnostic capability is spot on. The information quality I would give definitely give five stars. Very easy to read and how to diagnose all the problems on the vehicle I was working on.

The scanner does just about everything I would like it to do. I love how it charges itself when it’s being used. I love that I can send reports by email when I want to! I wish I had a little more control over multiple graphs, but it’s still workable for sure. There are some of the car specific codes that I can’t access (Land Rover) but it does seem to do 95% of what I need for a very reasonable price. And I also love that updates are free, unlike most other scanners.

I now have two BMWs. A 3 series BMW and an X5. I don't like taking them to the dealer because they charge too much for repairs. I use European shops to service my BMWs because they don't charge as much as the dealerships do. I had a handheld ODB scanner before but it doesn't come close to the functionality or capability of this one. For starters this scanner is three times larger and has a color screen. Also has a touch screen. Also has the ability to look up the codes that come up via the Internet because this connects to your Wi-Fi. Having this scanner to determine what is wrong with an engine can save me hundreds of dollars. First off I don't have to pay the repair shop to diagnose my car which they charge to do. And with knowing what's wrong with my car I can call the different shops and get price quotes and pin them down on a repair price. Repair shops know when they are dealing with a knowledgeable customer that is a car guy. When they are dealing with the knowledgeable customer, they're not going to price gouge you. There's just a certain mutual respect once they know that you know what you're talking about. The other good thing is with some of the repair codes you can look up on YouTube how to repair whatever the code is referring to. I have done a number of repairs myself from watching YouTube videos. This is an extremely useful tool and this is by far the best scanner that I've ever owned. The built-in battery lasts a long time on a single charge. The only negative I could really point out about this scanner is that it did not come with a nice carrying case. So I'm going to order a nice small pelican or camera case for it so that I can store it. I definitely recommend this scanner and I'm very happy with it.

I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of the ArtiDiag600. It looks and feels like a tool 4 times the cost. I shopped around and found this one to be my best bang for the buck. It has a long list of makes/models to choose from and I like that it has free updates. It is easy to use and gives you nice diagnostic report that you can print from your email or send to your mechanic. Just plug it in and it virtually does everything for you. Great product!

Only works on European cars. Missing some essential features for diesel.

I bought this advanced scan tool last week. It's very easy to setup, easy to use and worth for the money. This car scanner will automatically find my vin code, I don’t have to input manually. It scan engine/srs /abs/transmission systems and gives the results fast. I drove my Audi A3 2018 for 2 years and my car will shake when I started it so I washed its throttle, after which I need a throttle matching. This machine showed me the step to follow, like turn ignition on, then it will do initial settings to throttle actuators, to maintain a great balance of air and fuel for its running at an optimum level. As far as I can tell this product is well worth the money.

I bought this scanner because of all the other positive reviews and I can understand why. I really like it. It has more advanced features than the cheaper models and my dad likes it compared to some of his other ones. It does a lot of additional features that the cheaper models do not such as monitoring your transmission shift points and fuel injector programming. One thing to note is the power plug is not a USB-C or USB micro it’s an older style round plug so you want make sure you don’t lose it. The unit has a very rugged construction and it is also a touchscreen so make sure you use the touchscreen because I was trying to use the buttons on the side to navigate but the touchscreen is good. The battery life seems really good and when I got it I had to update it and it updated 39 files so they do they give you free updates. It has a lot of advanced features and you’re gonna want to spend time using it before you diagnose a real problem since you’ll want to spend some time getting used to the menu screen. My dad says it scans faster than some of the less advanced units. Glad I bought it. It will definitely get a lot of use over the years.

Can't go wrong , it reads the codes on my Mercedes .

Programming works for Audi vehicles with a large amount of servicing options. Faster than previous devices I’ve used.

Could not do very much diagnostic only and could not enter the vin

It does basic things, but often fails to communicate with my 2008 A6, and I wasn't able to get some basic coding done. It did a fine job on the ODB and other basic stuff.

Definitely nice for what it's advertised. It does almost everything for those specific brands. I never saw a aftermarket scanner that check fuel grade for BMW and mini.
